Include Achievements on your CV. Rather than just stating your job roles, do well to state some of your quantifiable achievements. Your prospective employer most likely knows your job responsibilities for your previous roles, what they would love to see are the achievements and actual impacts you made.

4 STEPS TO WRITING A DISRUPTIVE COVER LETTER

Your job search mechanism isn't complete if you own a good resume/CV without a well detailed and compelling cover letter.

You know why?

Cover Letters provide a great opportunity to share with the hiring manager why you're interested in the position & why you're a good fit for the company

Paragraph 1: Tell A Story

The 1st paragraph of your disruptive cover letter should establish a connection between you and the employer.

How do you do that? Well, you need to tell a story.

To stand out, tell a story about why you feel connected to their company.

Don't just reiterate what you say in your resume.

Explain what you admire about the company you're applying to.

Paragraph 2: Dig Deeper And Get Them Excited About What Comes Next

Blend language from the job description together with nuggets of info that are unique to you.

Set the stage for how you are qualified for the role.

Be careful, however, don't overdo it.

Paragraph 3: Hard-Hitting Highlights

Select 1-3 examples from your resume that you believe will impress.

Numbers resonate more so than words, so be sure to include quantifiable examples wherever possible.

Paragraph 4: Say Goodbye While Refreshing Their Memory

In this 4th & last paragraph, thank the hiring manager for taking the time to read it.

Use the final bit to emphasis why you're an ideal candidate.

Focus on being a business-of-one that can provide the service they need.

Show how your personal connection with the company is invaluable.
