आज (7 जून 2019) विश्व खाद्य सुरक्षा दिवस है। एक अनुमान के अनुसार उल्टे सीधे तरीके से खाने वाले खाद्य पदार्थों की वजह से पूरे देश में हर मिनट 44 लोग और प्रति साल 23 मिलियन से अधिक लोग दूषित भोजन खाने से बीमार पड़ रहे हैं। दूषित और जहरीला खाना खाने से हर साल लगभग 4700 लोग अपना जीवन खो देते हैं। ये आंकड़े चौंकाने वाले हैं मगर सच हैं।

Niti Aayog reconstituted
Prime minister Narendra Modi approved the reconstitution of think tank Niti Aayog. Rajiv Kumar was renamed as the vice-chariman of National Institute for Transforming India (Niti Aayog). The government has appointed Home minister Amit Shah, Defence minister Rajanth Singh, Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar as ex-officio members.
