नीति आयोग का पुनर्गठन
नीति आयोग गवर्निंग काउंसिल की बैठक से पहले प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने नीति आयोग को लेकर बड़ा फैसला लिया है प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने नीति आयोग के पुनर्गठन को मंजूरी दी। जारी आधिकारिक विज्ञप्ति के अनुसार डा. राजीव कुमार को फिर से उपाध्यक्ष बनाया गया है जबकि गृहमंत्री अमित शाह पदेन सदस्य होंगे।

WHO की रिपोर्ट
आज (7 जून 2019) विश्व खाद्य सुरक्षा दिवस है। एक अनुमान के अनुसार उल्टे सीधे तरीके से खाने वाले खाद्य पदार्थों की वजह से पूरे देश में हर मिनट 44 लोग और प्रति साल 23 मिलियन से अधिक लोग दूषित भोजन खाने से बीमार पड़ रहे हैं। दूषित और जहरीला खाना खाने से हर साल लगभग 4700 लोग अपना जीवन खो देते हैं। ये आंकड़े चौंकाने वाले हैं मगर सच हैं।

Niti Aayog reconstituted
Prime minister Narendra Modi approved the reconstitution of think tank Niti Aayog. Rajiv Kumar was renamed as the vice-chariman of National Institute for Transforming India (Niti Aayog). The government has appointed Home minister Amit Shah, Defence minister Rajanth Singh, Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Agriculture minister Narendra Singh Tomar as ex-officio members.

Extension of PM-KISAN
The Centre on 8 June 2019 notified a decision to extend the benefit of Rs 6,000 per year under the PM-KISAN scheme to all 14.5 crore farmers, irrespective of the size of their landholding, in the country. G20 agrees with digital tax
Group of 20 finance ministers agreed on 8 June 2019 to push ahead on compiling common rules that will close loopholes that global technology giants such as Facebook use to reduce their corporate taxes, a copy of the bloc's draft communique obtained by Reuters showed. Facebook, Google, Amazon, and other large tech companies have come under criticism for cutting their tax bills by booking profits in low-tax countries regardless of the location of the end customer, practices seen by many as unfair.

RBI new NPA framework
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issued a new framework for resolution of bad loans, replacing the previous norms quashed by the Supreme Court in April, offering a 30-day gap for stress recognition instead of the one-day default earlier.
