Basic Salary 22,000 – 24,000 plus 1,500 ETB transport allowance and 1,000 ETB communication allowance

The Ethiopian Lawyers with Disabilities Association is the first-ever professional association of persons with disabilities bringing together lawyers engaged in policy review and analysis, attorneys, prosecutors, judges, legal advisors and students with disabilities studying law in different parts of the country. Currently, ELDA has 226 active and registered members with in the nation. The Ethiopian Lawyers with Disabilities Association (ELDA) was formed in November 2019 being the first-ever professional association of persons with disabilities.

Position 2: ATTORNEY
Educational background:
Minimum of LLB Degree in Law and 3 years of related work experience. Experience in Banking Sector is Advantageous.

We are now looking for an outstanding, experienced, demonstrably skilled, and motivated Executive Assistant and Research Associate.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Education: A minimum of #LLM degree in human rights #law.

At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in evidence-based research, training, consultancy, and project implementation.

Excellent communication skills in all four modalities of the English language (writing, reading, speaking and listening) is essential for this post. Other languages – local or international – would be an asset.

Ability and availability to work efficiently with local and international clients of the Firm.

Availability for local travels.

Demonstrated, genuine interest and motivation to work with/for human rights organizations and organizations of persons with disabilities.

Ability to conceptualize, articulate, and write reports with an advanced content, quality, and clarity.

Demonstrated ability to use Project Life Cycle Management tools.
