🚦🔔 As part of our efforts to create a more #InclusiveSG, we’ll be installing 24/7 on-demand audible traffic signals at 325 pedestrian crossings in 🔟 towns islandwide by 2025! 🥳
 
Persons with Visual Impairment (#PwVI) 👨‍🦯 will now be able to locate these pedestrian crossings with a subtle locating tone 👂 audible throughout the day.
🕘 Past 9pm, the crossing tone can be activated with a tap of their Persons with Disability (#PwD) Concession Card on the Green Man+ card reader. This will help PwVIs to navigate their journeys more independently and safely 24/7. ⛅🌙
 
🏠 These crossings will be rolled out progressively, starting with #Tampines and #Bedok from June 2023.
