Launch of E-handbook For Mandatory Theory Test

Planning to ride or are already using a power assisted bike/e-scooter? You will soon need to pass a mandatory theory test before riding your device.

💻 The tests comprises multiple choice questions and will be available online from 30 Jun 2021. To help you become more familiar with the safety dos and don’ts, we have just rolled out these e-handbooks:

Extension of Class Licensing Regime

From today, all businesses that provide docked motorised PMDs and PABs for hire will be automatically licensed under a class licensing regime.

This regime will require businesses to comply with regulations such as ensuring users have third-party liability insurance coverage and are able to track the speed of their devices. #RideSafe #StaySafe

#PSA 📢 We will be trialling a new dedicated Sunday Cycling Lane along West Camp Road from 16 Oct 2022! ✨🚲

Demarcated by solid blue lines, the cycling lane can only be used by buses 🚌 and cyclists 🚴🏽‍♀️ during the operating hours, i.e. every Sunday from 5am-11am. The trial will be in place for about 6 months. 🗓
