#PSA We're looking to put in place the necessary regulations to ensure #ElectricVehicle (EV) charging 🚗⚡️🔋 is safe, reliable and accessible for all. This is a critical step as we gear up to make every HDB town EV-Ready by 2025.

We're now seeking public views on our proposed legislation to:
1️⃣ Ensure public safety in the supply, use, installation and maintenance of EV chargers

2️⃣ Establish clearer standards and regulations to shape the EV industry, such as introducing a licensing regime for operators to ensure they meet our reliability and quality standards

3️⃣ Lay the foundation for an accessible and reliable network of EV chargers to reduce the need for future retro-fitting works
