राइट टू हेल्थ स्कीम लागू करने वाला देश का पहला राज्य
आचार संहिता खत्म होते ही अब छत्तीसगढ़ में राइट टू हेल्थ स्कीम को लागू करने की तैयारी शुरू हो गई है। मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक जल्द ही छत्तीसगढ़ राइट टू हेल्थ स्कीम लागू करने वाला देश का पहला राज्य बन सकता है। इस योजना के लागू होने के साथ ही बिना स्मार्ट कार्ड के हर जरूरतमंद व्यक्ति को मुफ्त स्वास्थ्य सेवा मुहैया हो सकेगी।

स्विट्जरलैंड ने साझा की स्विस बैंकों की जानकारी
स्विट्जरलैंड ने अपने वैश्विक वित्तीय केंद्र होने की हैसियत को दोबारा हासिल करने के लिए अपने बैंकों की जानकारियों को खुफिया रखने की प्रतिबद्धता छोड़ दी है। खासतौर पर देखा गया है कि स्विस बैंकों के भारतीय ग्राहकों की जानकारियों को साझा करने की प्रक्रिया में तेजी आई है। पिछले एक हफ्ते में करीब ऐसे एक दर्जन मामले सामने आए हैं।

Triple talaq bills lapse
With the dissolution of the 16th Lok Sabha, the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Bill and the one on banning triple talaq have lapsed as they were not passed by Rajya Sabha. The two bills could not be passed by Rajya Sabha in the Budget session, the last Parliament session of the outgoing government.

Proposal for SHP rejected
The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has rejected a proposal by a private company in Tamil Nadu seeking Central finance assistance for their small hydropower project (SHP) due to non-compliance with the provisions in the scheme. M/s. Dazzle Power (P) Ltd. had proposed to set up 0.35 MW small hydro project at Tuklapatti Canal Drop, Madurai.

Sikkim's New chief minister
Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) president Prem Singh Tamang, popularly known as P S Golay, on 27 May 2019 took oath as the chief minister of Sikkim. Eleven SKM MLAs were also administered the oath by Governor Ganga Prasad at Paljor Stadium. Golay, who is not a member of the state assembly at present as he did not contest the polls, was elected as the SKM Legislature Party leader.

भारत में मर्डर रेट में आई गिरावटः UN
भारत में 2015 तक छह सालों की अवधि में हुई हत्याओं की कुल दर में 10 फीसदी की कमी दर्ज की गई है लेकिन उत्तर भारत के कुछ राज्यों में इसमें पर्याप्त वृद्धि देखी गई। संयुक्त राष्ट्र की एक रिपोर्ट में यह जानकारी दी गई है। संयुक्त राष्ट्र मादक पदार्थ एवं अपराध विभाग (यूएनओडीसी) ने 'हत्याओं पर वैश्विक अध्ययन 2019' नामक शीर्षक से जारी रिपोर्ट में यह जानकारी दी है।

भारत-आसियान त्रिगुट व्‍यापार मंत्रियों की बैठक नई दिल्‍ली में आयोजित की गई जिसका उद्देश्‍य वर्तमान में जारी क्षेत्रीय व्‍यापक आर्थिक साझेदारी (आरसीईपी) पर अनौपचारिक सलाह-मशविरा करना था। इस बैठक में केन्‍द्रीय वाणिज्‍य एवं उद्योग और रेल मंत्री श्री पीयूष गोयल, थाईलैंड की कार्यवाहक वाणिज्‍य मंत्री सुश्री चटिमा बुन्‍यप्रफासारा, इंडोनेशिया के व्‍यापार मंत्री एनगैरतियास्‍तो लुकिता, आसियान के महासचि‍व श्री लिम जॉक होई और आरसीईपी के टीएनसी अध्‍यक्ष श्री ईमान पैमबैग्‍यो ने भाग लिया।

वायु प्रदूषण के खतरों के प्रति आगाह करते हुए एक अध्ययन में यह बताया गया है कि घर और दफ्तरों से बाहर प्रदूषित हवा (आउटडोर पल्यूशन) के संपर्क में आने से फेफड़ों की कार्यक्षमता में तो कमी आती ही है। साथ ही क्रॉनिक ऑब्सट्रक्टिव पल्मोनरी डिजीज (सीओपीडी) विकसित होने का खतरा बढ़ जाता है।

UN report on sustainable development
Hunger is growing and the world is not on track to end extreme poverty by 2030 and meet other U.N. goals, mainly because progress is being undermined by the impact of climate change and increasing inequality, a U.N. report said. The report on progress toward achieving the 17 U.N. goals notes achievements in some areas, including a 49% fall in child mortality between 2000 and 2017 as well as electricity now reaching nearly 90% of the world’s population.

India will host a UN conference on combating desertification in September. At present, 23% of the world’s geographical area is affected by degradation while India faces this problem in nearly 30% of its land due to multiple reasons including deforestation.

Curiosity Rover finds lake on Mars
NASA’s Curiosity Rover has collected more evidence that the 150 km wide Gale crater on Mars once hosted a lake and stream system in the past. Researchers say that dating back to around 3.5 billion years ago, not only the groundwater must have enriched the crater but water streams might have laced the crater’s walls, running towards its base, as well.
