The #HarmandirSahib, also known as #DarbarSahib, is a #Gurdwara located in the city of #Amritsar, #Punjab, India. It is the prominent pilgrimage site of #Sikhism. It is usually called #TheGoldenTemple in English, because it is plated with gold.

The #GoldenTemple, also known as Harmandir Sahib, meaning "abode of God" or Darbār Sahib, meaning "exalted court", is a gurdwara located in the city of #Amritsar, #Punjab, India. It is the preeminent spiritual site of Sikhism.
Virasat-e-Khalsa is a museum of Sikhism, located in the holy town, #AnandpurSahib, near #Chandigarh, the capital of the state of #Punjab, India. The #museum celebrates 500 years of the #Sikh history and the 300th anniversary of the birth of #Khalsa, based on the scriptures written by the tenth and last human guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Qila Mubarak, is a historical monument in the heart of the city of #Bathinda in #Punjab, India. It is recognized as monument of national importance and maintained by Archaeological Survey of India. It has been in existence from 1100-1200 AD in its current place and is the oldest surviving fort in India. It was here that Razia Sultan, the first woman to take charge of the Delhi throne was incarcerated on her defeat and dethroned. The bricks of the fort date back to the Kushana period when emperor Kanishka ruled over Northern India/Bactria. Raja Dab, along with emperor Kanishka, is believed to have built the fort.
The Takht Sri Darbar Sahib Damdama Sahib, Fourth Takhts or Seat of Temporal Authority of Sikhism, Takht Sri Damdama Sahib is in #Bathinda in #Punjab, India and is the place where Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Sikh Guru, prepared the full version of the Sikh scriptures called Sri Guru Granth Sahib in 1705. The other four Takhts are the Akal Takht, Takht Sri Keshgarh Sahib, Takht Sri Patna Sahib and Takht Sri Hazur Sahib.
The #MoorishMosque, situated in #Kapurthala in the Indian State of #Punjab is patterned on the lines of the Grand Mosque of Marrakesh, Morocco. It was commissioned by Maharajah Jagatjit Singh, the last ruler of Kapurthala. Kapurthala city, was then the capital city of the Kapurthala State, known as 'Mini Paris of Punjab' and the #mosque was stated to be one of the best in South-east Asia. The mosque is a #NationalMonument protected by the Archaeological Survey of India.
The Tombs of Ustad-Shagird are two Mughal-era tombs in the town of #Nakodar in #Jalandhar district, #Punjab, India.

In Hindi and Urdu, he word Ustad refers to teacher, and Shagird means student or disciple.

The Tomb of Ustad is of Muhammad Mumin Hussaini, a musician and nobleman from the time of Jahangir, as identified by an inscription on the tomb dating it to 1612-13 CE.

The Tomb of Shagird is of Haji Jamal, the student of Mumin Hussaini, and dates it to 1657, during the reign of Shah Jahan. The similarity of the inscriptions, both in terms of the same chapters and verses of the Quran as well as the style of writing, point to both being done by the same calligrapher.
The Haveli Todar Mal popularly known as Jahaz Haveli or Jahaz Mahal is the 17th century residence (haveli) of Todar Mal, who became the diwan in the court of Nawab Wazir Khan, the Governor of Sirhind, under Mughal Empire. Today, it is remembered for the cremation of young martyred sons of Guru Gobind Singh and his mother.

The haveli is situated in Harnam Nagar, on the Eastern side of Sirhind-Rupnagar Railway Line just 1 km away from Fatehgarh Sahib, and is now being taken over and restored by SGPC with the help of #Punjab govt and INTACH.

The lavish haveli constructed with Sirhindi bricks stand just outside the Mughal Governor Nawab Wazir Khan's palace, once boasts of a grand reception area to receive and entertain guests and a well laid-out ground complete with a pool and fountains.
Gurdwara Sri Tarn Taran Sahib is a Gurdwara established by the fifth Guru, Guru Arjan Dev, in the city of Tarn Taran Sahib, #Punjab, India. The site has the distinction of having the largest sarovar (water pond) of all the Gurdwaras. It is famous for the monthly gathering of pilgrims on the day of Amavas (a no-moon night). It is near Harmandir Sahib, Amritsar.
