Elephants are known to be one of the most sociable animals and a photograph that has surfaced on the internet is proof of it. IFS officer Susanta Nanda recently took to Twitter to post a photograph of a tusker who could be seen entering a house in #EravikulamNationalPark in #Idduki district of #Kerala. In the caption, Nanda took a jibe that the elephant apparently knocked at the door to check for humans living inside amidst lockdown.

Jatayu Earth Center - World's Largest Bird Sculpture.

#JatayuEarthCenter, also known as #JatayuNaturePark or #JatayuRock, is a park and tourism centre at #Chadayamangalam in #Kollam district of #Kerala. It stands at an altitude of 350m (1200ft) above the mean sea level.

The park is located on a hill-top and no special transportation is required to get in to the park, however visitors required to use a cable car to reach the top of the park. Visitors intending to enter the park must obtain a paid ticket. Tourists may only bring cameras, and no bags are allowed. Lockers are provided for other items and there will be a security screening process before entering the top.
#Meghamalai commonly known as the High Wavy Mountains, is a mountain range located in the #WesternGhats in the #Theni district of #TamilNadu, near #Kumily, #Kerala.

It is dotted with cardamom plantations and tea estates.

It is situated 2 km from #Pallickathode and 7.5 km from #Pampady. The waterfall measures about 30 ft in height and active only during monsoon. In summer the river almost dries up.

The tallest #Gangadhareswara (#LordShiva) statue in the country on the premises of #AzhimalaTemple in #Vizhinjam

The 58-ft-tall statue made of concrete depicts Shiva having wavy hair with Ganga on his head.

The statue was completed over a duration of six years by artist P S Devadathan, an Azhimala native. Under the statue, there is a 3,500-sq-ft chamber with more sculptures showing the history of #AzhimalaShivaTemple. The sculpture has been made on a rock which is at an altitude of 20-ft from the sea.
