Responding to a journalist in Kyiv, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen explains the next steps on Ukraine's path towards the European Union.

🇪🇺 On April 8, 24 EU and 3 UA telecom operators have signed a joint statement on their coordinated efforts to secure and stabilise affordable or free roaming and international calls between the EU and Ukraine. The statement aims to establish a more stable framework to help Ukrainians displaced throughout Europe to stay in touch with family and friends back home.

Многие россияне полны сочувствия и раскаяния в связи с теми непомерными страданиями, которые оставила после себя наглая агрессия против Украины.

«Невозможно смотреть на страдания украинцев, которые потеряли родных и остались без дома. Мы должны им помочь», — говорит известный российский писатель Борис Акунин. Вместе с другими общественными деятелями, он основал «Настоящую Россию».

«Настоящая Россия» — благотворительная организация, объединяющая россиян, выступающих против войны и желающих поддержать Украину и её народ.

За последние 10 дней платформа собрала более 1 млн евро в поддержку украинцев, которым пришлось покинуть свой дом.

Many Russians are filled with compassion and remorse for the human suffering that the brazen aggression against Ukraine has left behind.
