The NGO is looking for 22 volunteers from all professional background to work on Access to Information in Ethiopia.
The NGO aims to promote the right of all persons to seek, obtain and communicate any information held by public bodies.
The government has the responsibility to share information on request, except for a few information, namely third-party information, information that endangers the country's defense, security and international relations, and some information that is required by law to be kept secret. The volunteers will be engaged in the access to information in all government service providers and other sectors.
Although there is no salary, all volunteers will be certified.......

If yes, then you are invited to join Public Information Noble (PIN), an NGO/CSO that works on the right to access information in Ethiopia.
PIN is seeking volunteers from all fields and sectors, such as health, law, engineering, economy, accounting, IT, production and others. You can be a student or a graduate of any level of education.
You can also be a public servant (government employee) or a private sector employee and self employed. The only requirement is that you have a passion for promoting access to information.

By volunteering with PIN, you will not only help others, but also benefit yourself. You will access information and gain opportunities to learn more about your career, education, life and expertise.
As a volunteer, you will work remotely via online platforms or phone calls.

You don't need to travel or relocate. You can work from anywhere in Ethiopia. You will be involved in accessing information from public bodies and other service providers.

You will also help raise awareness about the right of all persons to seek, obtain and communicate any information held by public bodies, except for some information that is legally restricted.

Although there is no salary, you will receive a certificate of appreciation from PIN.

You will also gain valuable experience and skills in the field of access to information.
