ስኬት ምንድን ነው?
ስኬታማ ሕይወት እንዴት ያለ ነው? ሰዎች “ለእኔ ስኬት ማለት ይኼ ነው ይኼ ነው” ብለው ሀሳባቸውን በሚገልፁበት ወቅት ስምም የሆነ አገላለፅ መስማት የተለመደ አይደለም፡፡ ለአንዱ እንደ ስኬት የሚታይ ነገር ለሌላው እዚህ ግባ የማይባል ጉዳይ ሊሆን ይችላል፡፡ ቤተሰብ መስርቶ፣ ልጅ ወልዶ ወዘተ ማሳደግ ለአንድ አንድ ሰዎች ትልቅ የሕይወት ስኬት ነው፡፡ በሌላ መልኩ ደግሞ ለሌሎች ዓለምን እየተዘዋወሩ ማየት የስኬት ሁሉ ስኬት ሊሆን ይችላል፡፡ የትኛው ሕይወት ነው ስኬታማ ሕይወት ከሚለው ጥያቄ ጀምሮ ወደዛ በስኬት አሸብርቋል ወደምንለው ሕይወት የሚወስደን ጎዳናስ የትኛው ነው የሚለው ጥያቄ መሰረታዊ ጥያቄ ነው፤ የታሰበበት እና የተጠና ምላሽም ይፈልጋል፡፡
በስነ ልቡና ባለሙያዎች ዘንድ ከሞላ ጎደል የሚያግባባው አንዱ ሀሳብ “ስኬታማ ሕይወት ሚዛናዊ ሕይወት ነው” የሚል ነው፡፡ ሕይወት ብዙ ፈርጆች፣ ገፆች እና ጎኖች አሏት፡፡ ሁላችንም አነሰም በዛ እዚህ ምድር ላይ በምንኖርበት ወቀት የተለያየ ሚና እንጫወታለን፤ የተለያየ ኃላፊነት እንሸከማለን፡፡ ታዲያ እነዚህ የተለያዩ የሕይወት ግፆችን ሚዛናዊ በሆነ መልኩ በሕይወት ወጣ ገባ መንገድ ላይ መኖር መቻል ስኬትም የስኬት ቁልፍም ነው፡፡ ዝነኛው ሳይኮሎጂስት ሲግመንድ ፍሮይድ “ስራ እና ፍቅር የሰው ልጅ ሕይወት የማዕዘን ራስ ናቸው (Love and work are the corner stone of our humans)” ይላል፡፡
በአጭሩ እነዚህን ሁለት የሕይወት ገፆች ፍሬያማ በሆነ መልኩ መኖር መቻል ስኬትም የስኬትም ቁልፍ ነው፡፡ አንድ ሰው በስራው እጅግ በጣም ውጤታማ ቢሆንና ለወዳጅ ዘመዶቹ ግን የረባ እንኳን ጊዜ መስጠት ባይችል ይህ ሰው ሕይወትን በሙላት እየኖራት እና እየተሳካለት ነው ማለት ይቸግራል፡፡ በዙሪያችን ከሚገኙ ሰዎች ጋር ፍቅር በፍቅር ሆነን ውጤታማ ስራ መስራት ካልቻልንም ያው ነው፡፡ ስኬት እነዚህን ሁለት የሕይወት ገፆች የሚጠይቁትን ጊዜ መስጠት መቻል፣ ሁለቱም የሚያሸክሙንን ኃላፊነት በአግባቡ መወጣት፣ በሁለቱም በኩል አትራፊ መሆን መቻል ነው፡፡
ሚዛናዊ ስለመሆን ስንነጋገር ከእኛ ውጪ ያሉ የሕይወት ገፆችን ብቻ ሳይሆን እኛ ውስጥ የሚገኙ የማንነታችንን ክፍልፋዮች ሚዛንም ሚዛን መጠበቅ አስፈላጊ ይሆናል፡፡ አንድ ሰው አንድ ሰው ብቻ አይደለም፡፡ አንድ ሰው ውስጡ በሚገኙት የተለያዩ የማንነት ክፍሎች ምክንያት ብዙ ሰውም ነው ማለት ይቻላል፡፡ እነዚህ የተለያዩ የማንነ ክፍሎች የሚፈልጉትን እና የሚያስፈልጋቸውን ያህል ቦታ ከሰጠናቸው፣ ከሰማናቸው፣ ፍላጎታቸውን ካሟላንላቸው፣ አንዱ ከአንዱ ጋር በስምምነት እንዲኖር መፍቀድ ከቻልን ትልቅ ስኬትም የስኬት ቁልፍም ነው፡፡
በአንፃሩ አንዱን ወደፊት አድርገን አንዱን ወደ ኋላ ከተውን፤ አንዱ ዘወትር እንዳሻው እንዲሆን ፈቅደን አንዱ ላይ በር ከዘጋን፤ የአንዱን ጥሪ አድምጠን ሌላውን ጆሮ ዳባ ልበስ ካልን ውስጣችን (አእምሯችን፣ መንፈሳችን ወዘተ) እነዚህ የማንነታችን ክፍሎች የሚራኮቱበት የጦር አውድማ ይሆናል፡፡ በዚህ ምክንያት ልዩ ልዩ ስነ ልቡናዊ ችግሮችም ይፀነሳሉ፤ ይወለዳሉም፡፡ ኤሪክ በርኔ የተባለ ሳይኮሎጂስት የሰው ልጅ ሰብዕና የሶስት ልዩ ልዩ ማንነቶች ጥምረት/ቅንጅት ውጤት ይላል፡፡
የመጀመሪያው “ወላጅ (Parent)” ነው ይላል፡፡ ይህ ክፍል ሁልጊዜ የሚመዝን፣ የሚቆጣጠር፣ እንከን የለሽ ለመሆን ጥረት የሚያደርገው ጥንቁቁ የሰብዕናችን ክፍል ነው፡፡ የዚህ የሰብዕና ክፍል መሰረት ራስ ወዳድነት፣ ደህንነት (security) እና ለሚደርገው ማናቸውም ነገር በቂ ምክንያት (justification) መስጠት መቻል ነው፡፡ ሌላኛው የሰብዕናችን ክፍል “አዋቂ (Adult)” ይባላል፡፡ ይህ የሰብዕና ክፍል ምክንያታዊ፣ አመዛዛኝ እና ነገሮች ተግባራዊ ሊሆኑ የሚችሉበትን መንገድ የሚያወቅ ይሆናሉ ወይስ አይሆኑም የሚለውን ጨምሮ መቀየስ መረዳት የሚችለው ነው፡፡ የሚያደርገውን ማናቸውንም ነገር የሚያደርግበት ምክንያት የውስጥ እርካታ፣ የመማር እና የማወቅ ፅኑ ፍላጎት ነው፡፡
ሶስተኛውና የመጨረሻው የሰብዕናችን ክፍል “ልጅ (Child)” የሚል ስያሜ አለው፡፡ ይህ ክፍል በአንፃሩ የፈጠራ አቅሙ የላቀ፤ ሰፊ ምናብ ያለው፤ ማደግ፣ መበልፀግ፣ መጫወት፣ ማጥፋት ወዘተ ነፍሱ የሆነ ነው፡፡ የሚፈልገውና የሚያደርገው ነገር መሰረቱ ደስታ፣ እርካታና ጥፋት ነው፡፡
እነዚህ ሶስት የሰብዕና ክፍሎች አንዳቸው ያለአንዳቸው እንዳሻቸው እንዲሆኑ ብንፈቅድላቸው በጎም በጎ ያልሆነም ውጤት ያስከትላሉ፡፡ አንዱ የሰብዕና ክፍል ብቻውን ፈላጭ ቆራጭ ሲሆን አሉታዊ ነገሮች ሕይወታችን ውስጥ ይበረክታሉ፤ ደስታ ይርቀናል፤ እረፍት ከአድማስ ባሻገር ያለ ሩቅ ሀገር ይሆንብናል፤ ስኬታማ እንደሆንን አይሰማንም፤ ስኬታማ ለመሆን የምናደርገው ትግልም በግጭት የታጀበ ይሆናል፡፡ የደስታ፣ እረፍት፣ ሰላም ወዘተ በጥቅሉ የስኬት ምንጭ እነዚህን ሶስት የሰብዕናችንን ክፍሎች አቻችሎ፣ አስማምቶ እና ሚዛን ጠብቆ ሕይወትን መምራት መቻል ነው፡፡ አንዱን ጥሎ ሌላውን ብቻ አንጠልጥሎ መኖር ተገቢም ገንቢም አይደለም፡፡ የሰው ልጅ ጥልቅ ተፈጥሮአዊ ፍላጎቱ ማደግ፣ አዎንታዊ ለውጥ ማምጣት እና እምቅ ችሎታውን አውጥቶ መጠቀም መቻል ነው፡፡
ይህንን ፍላጎቱን እያሟላ ለመኖር በእነዚህ ሶስት የሰብዕና ክፍሎች መካከል እርቅ፣ ስምምነት እና ሚዛናዊ ግንኙነት ሊኖር ይገባል፡፡ ቅርብ ጊዜ አንድ ትልቅ ፓርቲ ላፍቶ ሞል የመታደም እድሉ ገጥሞኝ ነበር፡፡ ዙሪያዬ ይገኙ የነበሩ ወጣቶች ጨዋታና ቡረቃ ሌላ ነው፡፡ ይዘፍናሉ፤ ይደንሳሉ፤ የራሳቸውን ግጥምና ዜማ እዛው ጭምር እየፈጠሩ ምን አለፋችሁ በቃ ራሳቸውንም በአካባቢያቸው የሚገኘውንም ታዳሚ ዘና ማድረግ ቻሉ፡፡ ምሽቱ እገፋ፣ ወደ ጉሮሮ የሚንቆረቆረው መጠጥ መጠኑ እየጨመረ ሲሄድ ግን ሁኔታዎች መልካቸውን ቀየሩ፡፡ ቅጥ ያጣ ዳንስና ልፊያ፤ የሌላውን መብት የሚጋፍ ድርጊት መፈፀም ተጀመረ፡፡ ያስደሰቱት ሰው ያዝንባቸው፣ ይታዘባቸው፣ ይናደድባቸው ገባ፡፡ ይህ እንግዲህ ሚዛንን መጠበቅ ያለመቻል ውጤት ነው፡፡
መዝናናት እና መደሰት አስፈላጊና እጅግ ጠቃሚ ነገሮች ነው፡፡ ሁሉም ሰው ማንነት ውስጥ መቦረቅ የሚፈልግ “ልጅ” ማንነት አለ፡፡ ይሁን እንጂ ይሄ ማንነት ሙሉ ለሙሉ ወንበሩን ያለ ኃይ ባይ ሲቆጣጠር ከሚለማው ይልቅ የሚጠፋው ያመዝናል፡፡ ይህ ሁኔታ እንዳይከሰት ታዲያ ሀይ ባዩ፣ ከልካዩ፣ ተቆጪው፣ ቆንጣጩ “ወላጅ” ማንነታችን አብሮን ሊኖር ይገባል፡፡ “ይበቃል፤ እንዴ! ተው አንጂ፣ ሰው እኮ እየረበሽክ ነው፣ ኋላ ችግር ውስጥ እንዳትገባ! ነግሬሀለሁ!” ወዘተ ሊል ይገባል፡፡ ይህ ብቻ ሳይሆን አመዛዛኙና አዋቂው ማንነታችንም እንዲሁ ምንጊዜም አብሮን ሊሆን ይገባል፡፡
“እየመሸ ነው ብንሄድ ሳይሻል አይቀርም፤ የጀመርካትን ጨርስና ጓደኞችህን ተሰናበት፤ ስትጨፍር ሌላውን ላለመርገጥ ተጠንቀቅ፤ መጠጡንም ቢሆን ከዚህ በላይ አትውሰድ፣ ረሳኸው እንዴ ነገ እኮ ስራ ገቢ ነህ ባለፈው ዓመት እንዲህ ስትጠጣና ስትጨፍር አድረህ የሆንከው ጉድ ትዝ ይልሀል” ወዘተ እያለ አዛዡን እና አማፂውን ማንነታችንን የሚያግባባ፤ ምክንያታዊ እርምጃ እንድንወስድ የሚያግዘን አዋቂ ማንነታችንን ያለ ልዩነት ሊጠነክር ይገባል፡፡ ሶስቱም የማንነት ክፍሎች ድምፅ ኖሯቸው እንደ ዴሞክራሲያዊ ስርዐት “check and balance” እየተደራረጉ ሲኖር ስኬታማ መሆን ይችላል፤ ተፈጥሮአዊ እምቅ ችሎታን አውጥቶ ለመጠቀም ..

መዝናናት እና መደሰት አስፈላጊና እጅግ ጠቃሚ ነገሮች ነው፡፡ ሁሉም ሰው ማንነት ውስጥ መቦረቅ የሚፈልግ “ልጅ” ማንነት አለ፡፡ ይሁን እንጂ ይሄ ማንነት ሙሉ ለሙሉ ወንበሩን ያለ ኃይ ባይ ሲቆጣጠር ከሚለማው ይልቅ የሚጠፋው ያመዝናል፡፡ ይህ ሁኔታ እንዳይከሰት ታዲያ ሀይ ባዩ፣ ከልካዩ፣ ተቆጪው፣ ቆንጣጩ “ወላጅ” ማንነታችን አብሮን ሊኖር ይገባል፡፡ “ይበቃል፤ እንዴ! ተው አንጂ፣ ሰው እኮ እየረበሽክ ነው፣ ኋላ ችግር ውስጥ እንዳትገባ! ነግሬሀለሁ!” ወዘተ ሊል ይገባል፡፡ ይህ ብቻ ሳይሆን አመዛዛኙና አዋቂው ማንነታችንም እንዲሁ ምንጊዜም አብሮን ሊሆን ይገባል፡፡

Summary Statement of Responsibilities:
The Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Intern will be part of the MEAL team which is supporting the country office and field office staff, across all sectors. The MEAL Intern will be responsible for supporting the MEAL team in ensuring quality data from the field and sector teams and documentation in our cloud based system (Box). IRC receives data from our seven field offices and across seven sectors which needs to be systematically collected, reported and analyzed in order to provide management information.
This position is based in Addis Ababa but might include occasional trips to field sites and refugee camps. The person in this position will report to and collaborate with the Accountability and Learning Coordinator, as well as the Senior MEAL Manager, both based in Addis Ababa.
Basic Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Evaluation:
· Review project based monthly Indicator Trackers and provide feedback to MEAL staff based in the Field Offices as well as sector based MEAL staff in Addis Ababa
· Support MEAL team in keeping an up-to-date Indicator Tracker Overview
Support Field Offices in providing project documents on Box and keep the folders up-to-date
Support MEAL team and project teams in providing up-to-date dashboards for all projects, sectors, and locations
Support MEAL team in creating a quarterly beneficiary count, disaggregated by sector and location
Participates in and supports Project Opening Meetings, Project Implementation Meetings and Project Closing Meetings
Learning and Documentation:
· Support MEAL Team in managing and updating the internal learning database, including learning from all monitoring, evaluations, studies, learning exercises, project review and closing meetings.
Representation and Special Tasks:
· Support MEAL team as needed to ensure all deadlines are met on time and that all products are of high quality.
· At the request of the A&L Coordinator, take responsibility for miscellaneous projects not falling under responsibility underlined in this job description.
Job Requirements:
· Excellent Amharic and English writing and speaking skills are mandatory and are the most important requirement for this position
· Fresh graduates
· Bachelor degree from a recognized university
· Computer literate, especially MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Box.
· Being an expert in Excel and creating dashboards is a plus, especially in Power BI.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills.
· NGO experience in similar position is a plus.

There is a high need for well-trained, skilled and competent health personnel, for better-equipped teachers and trainers and more suitable training materials and trainings that match future requirements in the world of work.
