Job Objective: Ensure the legal feasibility of purchasing contracts by devising/reviewing flawless contracts, advising procurement officials and performers and defending the Bank's interest at the court of law. Duties and Responsibilities: • Design/prepare purchasing and other related contracts; • Review contracts, ensure their completeness and cosign with responsible organ; • Review amendment to contracts (when needs arise) and ensure all concerned parties have got amended version of the contract documents; • Render legal advice and opinion, • Represent the Bank before the court of law, other judicial tribunals and organs; • Track legal defects and loopholes and take appropriate corrective measures; • Appeal on court decisions made against the Bank (if so required); • Work collaboratively with Procurement Department performers; • Conduct legal environment assessment to determine legal feasibility/admissibility of contracts; • Prepare periodic reports; • Perform other related duties given by the supervisor.
Qualifications/Skills Education:- LLB Degree in Law. Experience:- Minimum of 6 years banking experience, of which 3 years in the area of Law.

የይዞታ ማረጋገጫ ማስረጃ አላግባብ ተሰርዞብኛል በሚል የሚቀርብ አቤቱታ ጉዳዩ በቀጥታ ከመሬት ይዞታ ባለመብትነት ጋር ተያያዣነት ያለው በመሆኑ የተከራካሪ ወገኖች መደበኛ ነዋሪነታቸው ወይም የተከራካሪው ወገን የፌደራል መንግሥቱ ተመዛጋቢ መሆን ግምት ውስጥ ሳይገባ የክርክሩን ልዩ ባህሪ በማየትና የጉዳዩን ዓይነት
መሠረት በማድረግ ንብረቱ የሚገኝበት የከተማ አሥተዳደር ፍ/ቤት የቀረበውን ክስ ተቀብሎ
የመወሰን የሥረ-ነገር ሥልጣን አለው፡፡

በፍርድ ቤት ክስ ከቀረበ በኋላ ተከራካሪዎች አለመግባባታቸውን በእርቅ ጨርሰው ሆኖም ግን የእርቅ ስምምነቱ በፍርድ ቤት ካልጸደቀ በስምምነቱ መብት ያገኘ ወገን ያለው መፍትሔ ምንድነው?
አፈጻጸም እንዳይጠይቅ እርቁ በፍርድ ቤት አልጸደቀም። በጉዳዩ ሌላ ክስ እንዳያቀርብ ጉዳዩ በእርቅ ያለቀ ነው።
ስለሆነም ያለው መፍትሔ በእርቁ መሰረት ተከሳሽ ግዴታውን አልተወጣም የሚል ክስ ማቅረብ ነው።
በሰ/መ/ቁ 196228 [ያልታተመ] በተሰጠ የህግ ትርጉም የእርቅ ስምምነት በፍርድ ቤት ያልጸደቀ ሲሆን መብት ያገኘው ወገን ተስማሚው ወገን ግዴታውን አልተወጣም በሚል ክስ ማቅረብ ይችላል።
በሰ/መ/ቁ 196228 የተሰጠውን ውሳኔና በ2013 ዓ.ም. [እንዲሁም ጥቂት የ2012 ዓ.ም. ጥቂት] የሰበር ውሳኔዎች የተካተቱበት ስብስብ [Unofficial Compilation] ከታች ባለው link ይገኛል።
