We will begin installation of the new on-board unit (#OBU) under the #ERP 2.0 system in phases, starting with fleet vehicles (i.e. those which are registered to either a company or an organisation), from 1 Nov 2023.

For individual vehicle owners, we will inform you to install the OBU when it’s your turn. New vehicles will undergo OBU installation first, while the remaining vehicles will be scheduled in batches based on their age. Instructions will be provided and more details will be available in Q1 2024.

Check out the above to find out more.
We’re aware of the #BuzzOnTheGround following recent announcement of the phased installation of the On-Board Unit (#OBU) under #ERP 2.0.

These views mostly fall into five categories:

1️⃣ Do we really need to move to ERP2.0 since the current system is still working well?

2️⃣ Why did we choose satellite-based technology and is it future proof?

3️⃣ Why not use the one-piece motorcycle OBU for cars?

4️⃣ Can we replace the entire ERP system with a smart phone solution?

5️⃣ Can you integrate ERP2.0 with my car infotainment system?

Check out the visuals above to get these #FAQs answered.

#OBU installation: Have you booked your appointment?

Over 250,000 vehicles have already installed their OBUs. We encourage motorists to book soon to get your preferred authorised workshop and timeslot.

#Reminder All owners of eligible Singapore-registered vehicles can book their OBU installation appointment directly with their workshop – just like scheduling a repair or service. There is no need to wait for an official notification. It is also possible to combine the OBU installation with other vehicle services to minimise the downtime.

Visit 👉 go.gov.sg/book-obu for more information or to find an authorised workshop.
