We hope our support will help cement your EV decision. The government will maintain the level of incentives for buyers of most mass market electric car models and encourage the adoption of vehicles with zero tailpipe emissions by:

1️⃣ Extending the #EV Early Adoption Incentive (#EEAI) for 2 years till 31 Dec 2025;

2️⃣ Adjusting the rebate for electric cars under NEA’s Vehicular Emissions Scheme (#VES); and

3️⃣ Extending the $0 Additional Registration Fee (#ARF) floor for fully-electric cars and taxis till 31 Dec 2024.

#PSA In line with our vision for 100% cleaner vehicles by 2040, we will continue to support this transition from 1 Jan to 31 Dec 2025 by:

1️⃣ Maintaining the #EV Early Adoption Incentive (#EEAI);

2️⃣ Extending the $0 Additional Registration Fee (#ARF) floor for electric cars and taxis till 31 Dec 2025; and

3️⃣ Adjusting the rebate for cars under NEA’s Vehicular Emissions Scheme (#VES).

With these rebates, buyers will continue to enjoy combined cost savings of up to $40,000 off the ARF for electric cars. 🚗⚡️🌱
