👮🏻 Last week, we booked 85 vehicles at Serangoon and Ang Mo Kio for various parking offences. These offences include parking on:
🚫 Road with continuous white line
🚫 Road with continuous double white lines 🚫 Road with unbroken double yellow lines 🚫 Footways

💡 Parking refers to stopping a vehicle other than immediately picking up or dropping off passengers, goods or luggage. A waiting vehicle is considered parked, even if the driver is present or the engine is running.

🚨 LTA will continue to act against illegal parking activities. Offenders can face penalties and/or demerit points based on their vehicles and violation type. First time offenders face fines up to $300 while repeat offenders face higher penalties.

For your safety and others, park your vehicles at designated parking spaces.🚗 Learn more about illegal parking offences on the OneMotoring website.🔗

#OBUUpdates Introducing flash flood alerts on the #OBU from 30 June 2025! Motorists will receive alerts when approaching or travelling along affected roads. 📱

⚠️ During intense downpours, our canals and drains may be temporarily overwhelmed, leading to flash floods. 🌧️ While these typically subside within an hour, motorists should avoid flooded areas and use alternative routes. 🌧️

Beyond the OBU, flood alerts are also available on the myENV app and PUB’s Flood Alerts Telegram channel.

For more flood-safety tips, check out go.gov.sg/befloodready and stay updated via the MyTransport app or the OneMotoring website. 💡

Keep an eye out for more features on the #OBU to further benefit motorists! 🚘

#GoodNews Kovan MRT on the North East Line (#NEL) is now part of Travel Smart Journeys (TSJ) too!

🚍🚆Beat the morning rush hour and save up to 80% on your travel fares with TSJ!

Tips for smarter commutes:

1️⃣Re-Mode: Switch from taking the NEL train to an eligible peak hour express bus service during the morning peak hours.

2️⃣Re-Time: Tap in before 7:15am or between 8:45-9:45am at Punggol Coast, Punggol, Sengkang, Hougang, Kovan, Buangkok MRT stations, or any Sengkang/Punggol LRT stations. Tap out at any MRT or LRT station, excluding stations on the Punggol and Sengkang LRT lines.

3️⃣Combine Re-Moding and Re-Timing: Travel during the off-peak hours *and* take the eligible bus services to earn more points. Rewards would be based on whichever incentive percentage is higher.
