🔔#Reminder East-West Line (EWL) train services have been adjusted at Tanah Merah, Simei, Tampines, Pasir Ris, Expo, and Changi Airport stations from 7 to 10 Dec 2024 to facilitate the connection of tracks to the East Coast Integrated Depot.

🚌 Travelling from the affected areas?

Besides shuttle trains and buses, you can also take any of the regular bus services to complete your journey. 🚶‍♂️🚊

Behind the scenes of the ongoing track works to connect the East-West Line (#EWL) to #ECID! 👀

Our engineers and contractors have been hard at work since last night, making steady progress 🛠️🧰.

📅 From 7–10 Dec 2024, commuters traveling to/from Tanah Merah, Simei, Tampines, Pasir Ris, Expo, and Changi Airport stations are advised to plan for additional travel time .

Our teams have been working tirelessly around the clock to lay new train tracks, connecting the #EWL to the new #ECID. 🛤️

Here’s a glimpse of the works yesterday. 🏗️

Set to open in 2026, the ECID will boost rail efficiency and resilience, enhancing your future journeys. 🚇

👏🏻 A big thank you to everyone making this possible, and to our commuters for your patience and understanding!
While track works are ongoing, with almost 40% of works completed, our colleagues and @smrtsingapore staff have been on the ground assisting commuters with their journeys. 👷🏽‍♂️🫱🏽‍🫲🏻👮🏻‍♂️

🚨A gentle reminder: There is no train service at Simei and between Tanah Merah and Tampines stations from 7 to 10 Dec 2024.

🚆🚍 Commuters can take shuttle or regular bus services, and shuttle trains that are operating between
- Tanah Merah ↔️ Expo stations,
- Expo ↔️ Changi Airport stations, and
- Tampines ↔️ Pasir Ris stations.

Please plan ahead and allow additional time for your journeys.

#Update Track works along the #EWL to connect to the new #ECID are now complete, and testing is underway. 🛤️

Here’s a sneak peek 👀 onboard a test train today as we prepare to resume train services soon! 🔜🚆
#PSA - 🚉 #EWL train services at Tanah Merah, Simei, Tampines, Pasir Ris, Expo, and Changi Airport stations will resume tomorrow, 10 Dec 2024, from the start of passenger service hours. 🎉

We’ve laid new tracks to connect #EWL to the #ECID
We’ve completed comprehensive testing, including safety and ultrasonic tests on the tracks, power supply and train signalling systems.

🫡 We’re grateful for the more than 500 LTA and PTO staff, contractors, and crowd marshalls who’ve been working tirelessly since 7 Dec to replace and test the tracks, and assist commuters on the ground.

🙏🏼 We’d also like to thank you, our commuters, for your patience and understanding during this time. 💚

#GoodNews Take a first look at the new Punggol Coast station on the North East Line (#NEL), which will open for passenger service at 3pm today! 🙌🥳

Located in the heart of the Punggol Digital District, #PunggolCoast station will provide greater connectivity to the JTC Business Park and Singapore Institute of Technology (#SIT) campus.

#ICYMI With over 200,000 households within 10-min walk of a #NEL station, residents can enjoy shorter travel times from Punggol North to the city centre and other parts of Singapore.
