جلسه هشتم: در اين جلسه علاوه بر ادامه بحث از مقايسه ادبيات فقه و حديث مالکی و امامی در سده های دوم و سوم قمری اين موضوعات مورد بحث قرار گرفت: ۱) اصول اربعمائه چگونه دفاتری بودند؟ ۲) کتاب الکافی چگونه نوشته شد و دو روايت رازی و بغدادی آن چيست و منابع مکتوب و شفاهی کتاب کافی را چگونه می توانيم شناسایی کنيم؟ ۳) توضيحی مفصل در رابطه با سهم قم در مقايسه با کوفه در تأليف کتاب های حديثی و تهذيب و بررسی و مستند سازی روايات مختلف متون کهن حديث. ۴) بحث درباره اوضاع سياسی و اجتماعی و مذهبی قم در دو سده دوم و سوم قمری و سهم خاندان اشعری در آن.
