وقد قال بعض التابعين : من كثرت ذنوبه فعليه بسقي الماء . وقد غفر الله ذنوب الذي سقى الكلب ، فكيف بمن سقى رجلا مؤمنا موحدا وأحياه

Some of the tabi’in said: “Whoever’s sins are plentiful in number, he should grant others water. Indeed Allah forgave the sins of the one who quenched the thirst of a dog, so what about the one who performs the same act for a living and believing monotheist (Muslim)?”

A person who delays his repentance (taubah) is similar to a person who tries to uproot a tree but finds it firm in its place. He says, 'I will leave it a year or so and try again'. A year passes and upon his return, he finds that the tree has grown even firmer than before.

We're only getting older and the Day of Reckoning is only drawing closer, thus do not allow sinful habits to solidify any more.

ثُمَّ يَتُوبُونَ مِنْ قَرِيبٍ

"..and then they repent soon after.."

فدافع الفكرة فان لم تفعل صارت شهوة
فحاربها، فان لم تفعل صارت عظيمة و همة
فان لم تدافعها صارت فعلا
فان لم تتداركه بضده صار عادة فيصعب عليك الانتقال عنها

The believer accepts the reminder which is given to him/her and appreciates the fact that Allah has sent them someone to give them a reminder. As for the hypocrite and those who have a sickness in their hearts, they will ignore the reminder, and it will not have an affect on them as though they are deaf and did not hear it:

"And when our verses are recited to him, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard them, as if there was in his ears deafness. So give him tidings of a painful punishment"
[Luqman:6]

O Allah! allow us to be from those who accept an advice with an open heart.

10 WAYS TO INCREASE YOUR KHUSOO' IN SALAH

1. Pray 2 Rakats before every fard prayer

2. Learn the meaning of the Surah which you recite in Salah

3. Recite a Surah which you do not recite often

4. Offer your Salah as if it’s your last

5. Complete all your needs before offering Salah

6. Identify the reasons which distract you during Salah and eliminate them

7. Always offer your Salah in congregation

8. Remember that you are standing in front of Allah! The Lord of the worlds

9. Wear a clean dress and apply attar (perfume) before offering Salah (encouraged)

10. Ask Allâh for help.

الله کی رضا و خوشنودی کی خاطر باہمی میل ملاپ اور محبت رکھنے والوں کی فضیلت

راوی:

وعن معاذ بن جبل قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول قال الله تعالى وجبت محبتي للمتحابين في والمتجالسين في والمتزاورين في والمتباذلين في . رواه مالك . وفي رواية الترمذي قال يقول الله تعالى المتحابون في جلالي لهم منابر من نور يغبطهم النبيون والشهداء

معاذ بن جبل رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ میں نے رسول اللہ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے کہ ان لوگوں کے ساتھ میرا محبت کرنا ایک طے شدہ امر ہے جو محض میری رضا مندی و خوشنودی کی خاطر آپس میں میل جول محبت رکھتے ہیں محض میری خوشنودی کی خاطر اور میری حمد و ثناء کرنے کے لئے ایک دوسرے کے ساتھ بیٹھتے ہیں محض میری رضا و خوشنودی کی خاطر ایک دوسرے سے ملاقات کرتے ہیں اور محض میری رضا و خوشنودی کی خاطر اپنا مال خرچ کرتے ہیں مالک ترمذی کی روایت میں یوں ہے کہ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے کہ جو لوگ میری عظمت و جلال کے سبب آپس میں میل جول محبت رکھتے ہیں ان کے لئے آخرت میں نور کے منبر ہوں گے جن پر انبیاء و شہداء بھی رشک کریں گے۔
