The Brothers Kraft with what must be the longest-ever version of their signature song, Autobahn. I had heard about this legendary performance, but was unaware until now that there was a recording of it - and good quality, too! Performed a few months after the album was released, this version clocks in at 40 minutes - 15 minutes longer than the album version.

The Brothers Kraft with what might be the best live rendition of their wonderful Music Non Stop. I love the bit at 9:08 (listen from 8:20) where the bassline comes back in momentarily, as if testing the water, before resuming for the final lap. So cool!

It's too soon for spring - I'm enjoying the darkness - but nonetheless I associate this album with the spring. The Brothers Kraft with their 2003 comeback, Tour de France Soundtracks, their first album of new songs since 1986. I remember walking and listening to this for the first time and feeling elated, especially at the climax of track 4. That melody!
