This is the most expensive tank in the world - the Puma. One of it costs 17,000,000 Euros. We own 350 of them, unfortunately only 40 are combat-ready, the others are under repair or just completely broken. The tank only costs that much because of German bureaucracy and way too many rules. One rule is, that the tank must also be able to be driven by a heavily pregnant soldier. So the tank had to be built in such a way that a woman with a big belly could fit inside. If women who are nine months pregnant cannot drive in a tank, then that is discriminatory! No, that's not a joke, it's the basis of the German procurement policy for our armed forces.
