एमिसैट प्रक्षेपित
EMISAT - भारतीय अंतरिक्ष अनुसंधान संगठन (इसरो) ने 1 अप्रैल 2019 को सुबह करीब 9:27 बजे 29 उपग्रहों को अपने विश्‍वसनीय रॉकेट पीएसएलवी-45 के जरिए प्रक्षेपित कर दिया। इस मिशन के तहत इसरो ने एक स्‍वदेशी और 28 विदेशी उपग्रहों को धरती की दो अलग-अलग कक्षा में स्‍थापित किया है। इस अभियान में पहली बार चार स्‍ट्रैपऑन मोटर वाले पीएसएलवी के क्‍यूएल संस्‍करण ने उड़ान भरी थी। इससे पहले इस यान ने दो, छह या फिर बिना स्‍ट्रैपऑन मोटर के ही उड़ान भरी है। इसी अभियान के तहत इसरो ने भारत के एमिसैट (EMISAT) उपग्रह को भी सफलता पूर्वक कक्षा में स्‍थापित कर दिया। यह एक प्राइमरी उपग्रह है जिसका वजन करीब 436 किग्रा है। एमिसैट को इसरो और डीआरडीओ ने मिलकर बनाया है.

BOB बनेगा देश का तीसरा बड़ा बैंक
सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र का बैंक ऑफ बड़ौदा विजया और देना बैंक का खुद में मर्जर कर 1 अप्रैल 2019 को देश का तीसरा सबसे बड़ा बैंक बन जाएगा। गौरतलब है कि सरकार ने इन बैंकों के मर्जर की घोषणा पिछले साल सितंबर महीने में की थी। इसके बाद यह स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया और एचडीएफसी बैंक के बाद देश का तीसरा बड़ा बैंक बन जाएगा। हाल के ही कुछ वर्षों में यह देश के सरकारी बैंकों का दूसरा सबसे बड़ा विलय है। इसके पहले स्टेट बैंक ऑफ इंडिया (एसबीआई) ने अपने पांच सहयोगी बैंकों का खुद में मर्जर कर लिया था। इनमें स्टेट बैंक ऑफ पटियाला, स्टेट बैंक ऑफ बीकानेर एंड जयपुर,स्टेट बैंक ऑफ मैसूर, स्टेट बैंक ऑफ त्रावणकोर, स्टेट बैंक ऑफ हैदराबाद और भारतीय महिला बैंक शामिल थे। यह मर्जर अप्रैल 2017 में हुआ था।

EMISAT launched
India’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C45) on 1 April 2019 successfully launched EMISAT and 28 international customer satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR in Sriharikota. This flight marked the first mission of PSLV-QL, a new variant of PSLV with four strap-on motors. PSLV-C45 lifted off at 9:27 Hrs (IST) from the Second Launch Pad and injected India’s EMISAT into a 748 km sun-synchronous polar orbit, 17 minutes and 12 seconds after liftoff. After separation, the two solar arrays of EMISAT were deployed automatically and the ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network at Bengaluru assumed control of the satellite. In the coming days, the satellite will be brought to its final operational configuration.

China launches second generation data relay satellite
China has successfully launched the first of its new-generation data relay satellites into orbit that will provide data relay, measurement and control services for its manned spacecraft. The Tianlian II-01 satellite was launched by a Long March-3B carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Centre in southwest China's Sichuan Province on 31 March 2019 night.

Anti-dumping duty on solar cell component
India has imposed anti-dumping duty of up to USD 1,559 per tonne on imports of a certain type of sheet used in solar cell making from China, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia and Thailand for five years to safeguard domestic players against cheap shipments. In a notification, the Department of Revenue has said that after considering the recommendations of the commerce ministry’s investigation arm DGTR, it is imposing the duty, which is in the range of USD 537 to USD 1,559 per tonne, on imports of “Ethylene Vinyl Acetate sheet for solar module” being exported by these four nations. The anti-dumping duty imposed shall be effective for a period of five years (unless revoked, superseded or amended earlier). Following a complaint by a domestic company, the directorate had initiated the probe in April last year.
