चीन में मानव जेनेटिक संसाधन प्रबंधन नियम एक जुलाई से लागू होगा। इस नियम में संरक्षण की मजबूती, समुचित प्रयोग, सेवा और निगरानी के समायोजन जैसे पक्षों में देश में मानव जेनेटिक संसाधन प्रबंधन का निर्धारण किया गया है। चीनी उप-विज्ञान और तकनीक मंत्री शू नानपिंग ने इस नियम के बारे में बताया।

राष्ट्रीय शिक्षा नीति के मसौदे में त्रिभाषा फार्मूले से हिंदी की अनिवार्यता खत्म करने के फैसले पर विवाद और तेज होता जा रहा है। दो सदस्यों के विरोध के बाद कमेटी के एक और सदस्य मसौदे में बदलाव के खिलाफ खुलकर सामने आए। उन्होंने सवाल किया कि जब हिंदी को संविधान में ही राष्ट्रभाषा बनाने की बात कही गई थी तो फिर बदलाव क्यो? खासबात यह है

‘Star of Jerusalem’ award
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has conferred an Indian national with the Star of Jerusalem medal, one of the highest honours given to foreign nationals by the Palestinian Authority. At an event organised to honour Sheikh Mohammad Munir Ansari, Mr. Abbas thanked him for serving Palestine and Jerusalem, the third holiest city for Muslims, with distinction.

India to join heavyweight torpedo club
India’s underwater weaponry is set to get more fire power with the Navy deciding to induct indigenously developed heavyweight torpedo ‘Varunastra’ into its arsenal. With this, India will join a group of only eight countries to have the capability to manufacture heavyweight torpedoes.

AI digital labs in India
Tech giant Microsoft said it will launch AI digital labs in the country in collaboration with 10 higher educational institutions, including BITS Pilani and ISB. As part of the three-year programme, Microsoft will support the select institutions with infrastructure, curriculum and content, access to cloud and Artificial Intelligence (AI) services as well as developer support.

राजद्रोह कानून खत्म करने का इरादा नहीं'
केंद्रीय मंत्री नित्यानंद राय ने कहा कि सरकार का राजद्रोह कानून खत्म करने का विचार नहीं है। मोदी सरकार के पहले कार्यकाल में राजद्रोह कानून को लेकर कुछ राजनीतिक दलों और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं ने काफी आपत्ति जाहिर की थी। राजद्रोह कानून को सख्त बनाने की जरुरत है। वोट का अधिकार सरकारी नौकरी एवं सुविधाओ से वंचित लोक सभा राज्य सभा सहित किसी भी चुनाव मे लड़ने पर रोक लगनी चाहिये।

RBI forms working group CICs
The Reserve Bank on 3 July 2019 said it has constituted a working group that will review the regulatory and supervisory framework for core investment companies.
In August 2010, RBI had introduced a separate framework for the regulation of systemically important core investment companies (CICs), recognising the difference in the business model of a holding company relative to other non-banking financial companies.

NDIAC Bill introduced
A bill to set up an independent and autonomous regime for institutionalised domestic and international arbitration was introduced in Lok Sabha on 3 July 2019.

Code on Wages Bill approved
The Union Cabinet on 3 July 2019 approved the introduction of a bill that will codify relevant provisions of four existing laws and intends to increase the legislative protection of minimum wage to the entire workforce. The Codes on Wages Bill, 2019 would benefit about 50 crore workers.

UNESCO report on disabilities
More than one in four children with disabilities between ages 5 and 19 in India have never attended any educational institution, while three-fourths of five-year-olds with disabilities are not in school. A report by UNESCO and the Tata Institute of Social Sciences released on 3 July 2019 recommends structural, funding and attitudinal changes to ensure that no child is left out of the right to education.
