The Government has decided to appoint The Govt. has decided to appoint Lt General Anil Chauhan as the next Chief of Defense Staff (#CDS). He was #DGMO of Indian Army and Commander of the Eastern Army Command from September 2019 and held the charge until his retirement from the service in May 2021.
