A civil defense mock drill is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 29, across the Indian states adjoining Pakistanโ€” Gujarat, Punjab, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir.
Rajasthan Home Department: It is hereby intimated that the Civil Defence Exercise "Operation Shield", which was planned to be held on 29.05.2025 is hereby postponed due to administrative reasons.

It is requested that necessary directions to all the Controllers of Civil Defence and other stakeholders, may be issued accordingly.

Next dates for the exercise shall be issued subsequently

Drawing a historical parallel, he likened their situation to that of Maharana Pratapโ€™s brother, Shakti Singh. Brigadier Amitabh Jha was attached to the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF), overseeing the delicate ceasefire arrangements in the Golan Heights, while Havildar Sanjay Singh was deployed with the United Nations Stabilisation Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO), where he worked to stabilise conflict-affected regions.
