'If someone wants to limit us in any way, they will limit themselves first of all'- Putin on sanctions
Russian President Vladimir Putin joked on the Western sanctions as he met with the nation's young talents in Moscow.
"If someone wants to limit us in any way, they will limit themselves first of all", Putin said stressing that due to restrictions imposed on Russian fertilizer and energy supplies, 'the prices are skyrocketing'.
"They are calling inflation after my name but we have nothing to do with this, seriously, it's true", the president said, pointing out at ' longstanding mistakes' made by the Western politicians.
"They were the ones who made those mistakes and now they are hiding and trying to cover certain parts of their anatomy. They are trying to shift the blame on Russia. But we have nothing to do with that", Putin concluded.

In Delhi, a massive protest and sloganeering was held at the Jama Masjid demanding arrest of suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma. The Shahi Imam of the Jama Masjid said no call for protest given by the mosque authorities. The initial protest had lasted for about half an hour, following which the protesters dispersed. They later gathered again.
Protests were also held in Lucknow, Prayagraj, Deoband, Firozabad and Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh over the same issue. In Saharanpur, locals staged protest and tried to march towards the Ghantaghar after Friday prayers in the Nawabganj area. Police resorted to baton-charge to disperse the crowd. After alleged inflammatory speeches were delivered from a mosque, the administration sprung into action in Bhaderwah town of Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir. As tension spread in the area Thursday evening, a curfew was imposed and the Army called in to conduct a flag march.
