France to hold joint IPR on the new engine for the AMCA program.

French engine giant Safran and India's Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) are giving final touches to the ongoing negotiation for the joint development of a 110-kN (kilo Newton) engine to power India's 5.5 generation Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA) jet, where India will be investing nearly €1 billion into the program but will still end up sharing Joint Intellectual Property (IP) rights with France for the engine.
Intellectual Property (IP) and Transfer of technology (TOT) for the core of the engine have been the bone of contention between Safran and GTRE in all talks that have been going on for a while now. While India has been assured ToT for the Core engine that includes the right to carry out improvements and up-gradation of the critical components throughout engine service life in production, Safran will continue to hold Joint IP rights on most of the ToT that will happen on the core engine.

Arestovich says Crimean bridge can only be destroyed with a tactical nuclear strike

"First of all, not even HIMARS (US multiple rocket launchers, note) will reach it with the current outline of the battlefield. Or rather, the line of contact. Secondly, destroying the Crimean bridge is a very difficult technical task. Because to seriously damage the bridge is to take down one of the piers. And it's done in such a way that a tactical nuclear strike has to be launched there to bring it down," he said.

Arestovich explained that even five tons of explosives would not be enough to destroy the piers of the bridge. If only the bridge deck is damaged, Russian troops would be able to repair it quickly.

Fort Sindhudurg.
Built by Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. (Father of the Indian Navy).
Engineered by Hiroji Indulkar.
Shivaji Maharaj had looted Surat and that money was used to build this fort.
Surrounded by rocks in the sea, there is only one way full of curves to reach this fort, making it more powerful as the enemies will need more time to navigate through the rocks.
The main entrance is concealed in such a way that it is difficult to point at from outside sea shore. The Mahadarwaja (Main Entrance) is enclosed between two strong bastions, which remains invisible from far, But only appears when you come in front of it.
There are also natural freshwater ponds on the fort.
There is footprint and hand impression of Shivaji Maharaj on the fort.
Sindhudurg was built to keep the British, Siddhis and the Portuguese in check by Maratha navy.
The foundation of the fort has been laid in molten lead this has provided the robustness to the fortification of the fort.
One of the best example of Fort Engineering
