The Trolley Problem.

There's a train heading straight and sadly on its path are 5 strangers you've never seen before tied to the railway. If the train continues it's path it will kill all 5 of them.

But you then appear to be standing near a lever. Pulling that lever will make the train change track and onto a different one. But sadly again on the new path you've caused it to travel there's 1 stranger you've never seen before tied onto the new path.

So the moral dilemma is this: would you just stand there doing nothing and let the train kill all those 5 strangers OR would you pull the lever and cause the train change path into killing the 1 stranger on the new path you set out?

A runaway trolley is speeding down a track. Ahead, there are five people tied to the track who will be killed if the trolley continues. You’re standing next to a lever. If you pull the lever, the trolley will be redirected onto another track, but there’s one person tied to that track.
