I don't wanna be a dark cloud on everyone who's hoping on Notcoin, I hope it becomes something of value for you guys. But u highly doubt that it'd be anything of good in the close future.

It'll just be hypes and announcements here and there. And I'm not randomly making this up I'm basing it on how they're proceeding.

They're literally telling people to swap TON/USDT/BTC with Notcoin to get more Notcoin. Like literally switch something of actual value with nothing so we have something. And the vast majoring of the owners of NOT don't have other crypto to risk swapping so it's got so little resource.

They even send Durov a ton of NOT just so he might promote it or hoping he'd make it valuable but Durov was like no thanks I'll just hold it lol.

When in relationship or marriage people would often say "የአብርሃም የሳራህ ያድርግላችሁ!"

Tho people mean it a sense that they wish for the relationship to last long, looking at the Bible Abraham and Sarah were step siblings, Abraham once tried to pimp out Sarah to some king, slept with their maid while she knew about it and he even remarried someone else at his old age after Sarah's death.

I can't imagine the pain Sarah endured. Being barren, rediculed by her servants and neighbors for not being able to bare a child, feeling useless, being cheated on, being less prioritized.

But through it all Sarah forgave Abraham and stayed loyal to him. Infact Sarah gave up and risked her entire life to Abraham and stayed married to him until she died.

Sarah submitted her entire self to the dreams and purpose of Abraham. And sometimes even to the selfish and harmful needs of him. But her loyalty was unquestionable. God did bless her at her old age and did one of the biggest miracles in the Bible.

And later in the new testament she's refered to as የነፃነት እናት (Gal 4:28-31)

Sarah is an unsung hero to be honest.

And so my people, when we submit to God let's be like Sarah. Complete and utter sacrifice of ourself to our lord. And unlike Abraham, God would never risk losing us for his selfish needs, would never cheat but would always be more loyal to us than we can be to Him.

Was thinking today about God's mercy.

I looked at my sins and I'm like, How did God forgive me? And then I'm like "oh yeah cause of Jesus' sacrifice"

But then again, WHY??!!!

For God to forgive me, He has to WANT TO. God saw all the sins I've committed and possibly will commit and He still WANTED TO FORGIVE ME. And that's our blessing I guess. Idk about u but that blows me away.

Also you've gotta realize that God didn't want to forgive you cause you've had less sins infact it's because you've got more of it.

This isn't said often but:

Expect from God. It's okay to expect from God. After all He's our provider, sustainer and lifeline.

A child expects his mother to feed him, and his father to protect and provide for him. A wife expects her husband to love and care for her, a person expects their bestfriend to keep their secrets and to defend them.

It's like that with God. Expect God to be God. And if you don't know what things you should expect God in, the Bible tells us a lot of things.

So if God has said it in the Bible, then you can expect God for that thing.

This verse hits deep cause Jesus said this moments before He was held captive and fully knowing that Peter would betray Him.

He is saying "In a few hours Peter will betray me, but I'm going to pray that this won't make him lose faith because in a few days I'll rise up from the dead and we'll do wonders together."

And to us believers, Jesus is the same for us. He intercedes on behalf of us so that sin we struggle with doesn't kill us, that situation we're going through doesn't make us lose faith.

So I do a bunch of things and often I find it hard to rest. Tho I relax and chill, go out and tour, sleep or do calming activities I still can't rest.

.... Until I Bible Study. If I Bible study even just for a small bit it's like I took the longest nap, detoxed myself from all internet, lived a healthy lifestyle and more.

At first I thought it was just me who could rest by doing spiritual activities. But it's not. All the good Christian friends I have can't rest whatever else they do, they rest only when connecting to God.

I want to be financially honest in my life. Be honest of the amount of money I get paid from freelance contracts, my crypto investments, other side hustles, assets and more. I don't like how finances are seen negatively, gained through corruption, rich people not being very transparent and stuff. But I want to defy that one way or another.

Currently I can't do that and it's hard to do that anywhere in the world to be honest. One of the reasons is it will come off as being prideful or boastful to 99% of the people that'll encounter me which does more harm than good.

Second reason is a personal one. Even when I want to be 100% honest I'm just gonna draw more attention to my family, the person I'll be marrying and stuff. Which is just unacceptable. May be in the future if my wife is okay with it, I might do it but even that is just far fetched.

Another reason being crypto, trading and freelancing abroad aren't positively seen by the government and stuff. Which will just be more annoying. Draw more police eyes and we all know even if I do things right, the amount I will be making might make them twist laws and rules to just get my cash.

A deeper reason is tithing and/or charity. Which I keep 100% private. I do not want anyone ever knowing what I give out in charity or for church. So that just makes it even harder.

I'm just thinking out loud and I just hope the right circumstances align for me to do this.

There are a bunch of answers to this that people with different perspectives gave. Pretty cool. So I won't expand on this much.

Since the question was towards me, I'll just narrate the Christian side in a blip.

One of my fav verses in the Bible is this:
“ነገርን መሰወር ለእግዚአብሔር ክብሩ ነው፤ ነገርን ፈልፍሎ ማውጣት ግን ለነገሥታት ክብራቸው ነው።”
— ምሳሌ 25፥2

It says that Humanity and civilization expanding in complexities, advancements, technology, tools, and more is our honor. It's what make us beautiful and shine. It's our story to tell at the campfire.

So God purposely hid things, in the literal sense for us to dig up or explore to discover and also in the sense that He made things so complex that we have to upgrade our complexities to reach what He hid. So well practiced science and technology makes God happy and it is in complete alignment of His will.

Another striking story for me is the story of Bezalel in the Bible. He is considered to be the first person the Holy Spirit came onto and filled him with so much engineering, architectural, interior design and construction knowledge and wisdom.

“እነሆ፤ ከይሁዳ ነገድ የሆር የልጅ ልጅ የሆነውን የኡሪን ልጅ ባስልኤልን መርጬዋለሁ። በሁሉም ዐይነት የእጅ ጥበብ ሥራ፣ ብልሃት፣ ችሎታና ዕውቀት እንዲኖረው የእግዚአብሔርን መንፈስ ሞልቼዋለሁ፤ይኸውም በወርቅ፣ በብርና በናስ ለሚሠሩት ሥራዎች በጥበብ የተሠሩ ጌጦችን እንዲያበጅ፣ ድንጋዮችን እንዲቆፍርና እንዲጠርብ ከዕንጨትም ጥርብ እንዲያወጣ፣ ሁሉንም ዐይነት የእጅ ጥበብ ሥራዎችን እንዲያከናውን ነው።"

Here you can see that God not only wants people to pursue science, technology, engineering, maths and more but He will actively participate in your journey.

God encourages believers to pursue complexities, seek the truth, discover things, battle the evils of this world both in the spiritual and physical sense, to seek wisdom actively and more.

Now, what's so beautiful for a Christian STEM person is that the products, technology, tools and designs built are sound morally, have gone through so much value filters that it prevents some possible evil and addictions as well.

But in a deeper sense, God works with you. His Spirit pours down wisdom and knowledge, guides and teaches you. So when you're out there fighting to make a cure for cancer, building spaceships to reach other solar systems, building robots to help humanity, building software to enhance life; God will bless, guide and help you with that.

Another deep thing is, purpose and beauty. So you could launch the best AI there is but then again you have no meaning for your life, you could be dying on the inside, you could not experience what joy is.

AND THESE ARE SOME THINGS WHAT GODLESS STEM PEOPLE OFTEN LACK, THAT BELIEVERS EXPERIENCE ON A DAILY BASIS.

Here's a thing: when you meet and get close to the people you really admire, look up to, became a fan of, always wanted to meet and be with them you will quickly realize that your idea of them is far more superior than who they really are.

People are not who they seem to be. Everyone's flawed. To keep your admiration and obsession, you should keep them far, but if you want that high standard you've given them to fall then get to know them closer and you'll realize how broken and far more imperfect they are.

(This is for the people who admire me and are fans. Trust me, you should just focus on yourself and become someone you're a fan of. I'm flawed in so many ways.)

Or fix your eyes on Jesus, who is far superior than even your highest expectations

You know how God was telling Abraham that He will bless him and make him a great nation. By saying that God was also ready for the sins these people would commit against Him.

It's stuff like this that makes me know that God loves us more than the sins we commit.

Random Rants and advices

The sex scenes in Severance aren't necessary.

Gays mentioning they were Christians in movies is a subliminal message to encourage believers to pursue sin even more.

YouTubers who include meaningless scenes and talks to keep you watching are intentionally wasting your time and knowing that your time is the most valuable thing, these people are bad for you.

Everyone wants to use you. Family, friends, partner, boss, colleagues, fans... Everyone. It's only mature you understand that and decide who you want to serve. The only person who is solemnly interested in you without the intention to use you is God, so you owe Him all the love.

People are bad. Even the good ones are really bad. It's important to not forget that and then try to surround yourself with people who understand this and are trying hard enough to counteract their bad behavior and intentions.

It's wise to understand that there's more you can't see than you can, more you can't hear than u can, and more you can't control than you can.

Do not be swayed by other people's journey, accomplishment or plans. They are not you, and you are not them. Focus on your own goal and purpose. It may not be today but your success is guaranteed.

Avoid algorithmic feeds often. It's far more important for you to choose what kind of content you want to consume than be force fed.

Nothing good ever came out of rushing. Take your time with what you're doing.

Strive to gain understanding, a mind of patience, words of wisdom, a heart of mercy and a life of honesty.

Contrary to popular belief, you are not enough nor desirable the way you are. The best thing you can do is set yourself on the path of improving yourself within each passing day.

You're only a hypocrite if you keep doing it. You can stop and you're not a hypocrite anymore, but a person battling out their issue.

Don't get lost in the analytics and the metrics. Focus on producing quality and valuable content more.

Drop your ego and be open to learn from anyone.

Your Christianity isn't something to gain followers from, or to agree with the popular thought. You'd have to be faithful and stick with the truth you believe in. That comes at a cost, but so much worth it.

Your Christianity isn't something to be ashamed of. Be proud of being loved by God. Be proud of how good God is. Be proud of how immeasurably powerful He is. Your Christianity is the most unique, most meaningful, most powerful thing in the universe.

Humans were never meant to think like computers

With AI progressing, we are not going to use any of these programming languages. Infact, all of these languages are not good in the age of advanced AI. There will be a time where AI will design an incredible language.

That "one" programming language to rule them all. Something that unlike anything we've currently. That language is what everything will use after that.

So a person who's wasting too much time thinking about types instead of the product itself, is actually wasting valuable brain power and developing skills that are obsolete almost instantly. So I don't think humans are supposed to think like computers - which most programming languages force us to do. And don't get me wrong, I have my fav programming languages, but I'm not pouring my soul and identity into them.

Some people don't think this will happen and the problem is in thinking that there won't be any new AI breakthroughs soon and that we will only continue with the transformer model only. Which isn't true, countless people are working on this with different approaches, AND though it's not guaranteed, it's not dismissible that something better and smarter will come. If not from one company, then from a mix of them.

And when it comes to knowledge of programming languages, computer architecture and compilers and more; there are soo many actually detailed resources that AI can use to design a programming language, with it's interpreter/compiler. This part is a no brainer actually. Infact it's so easy current AI models just need to get better at the needle in the hay-stack problem. But that's beside the point rn.

Our current programming languages will only go for a while. Just for the sake of stability and until that "one" language is good enough to be cross platform, efficient, safe, secure and most of all BETTER than any language.

And at that point what we currently use will be completely useless, not just the tools but the way we think about them too. It will be like a hobby thing, where people like us will stream on YouTube showing our grandkids what we used to do. (Coding a website using nothing but svelte — svelte being so low level in the age of that ONE language(framework))

Let me even expand a bit on this...

There are four approaches AI will take when it comes to programming languages that I can see just when I'm randomly thinking about this.

The first is AI being so good at understanding all the current languages so much. That it automatically chooses what languages, compiler, interpreter, version to use whenever we ask it to do something.

The second is AI will be so good that it will help us make our current languages more efficient, secure and just overall better. So we get better JS, Better Rust, Better Dart and even Better HTML and CSS.

The third is AI will help create that ONE language from scratch that replaces all others. But this language is a super optimized version for our current computer architectures. So it flows so well within our current CPUs, GPUs and whatnot. Which is still extremely advanced for us humans.

The fourth is a language that is so well designed, that if we produce a different kind of computer architecture or CPU, it will be so much more better than anything we've ever encountered up until this point.

So even when you follow these things you'll quickly see that the first is pointless and such a useless stack. It will only be the stepping stone and nothing more.

Hence - humans are not meant to think like computers.

Saw this thumbnail today and made me think alot about myself. I've always wanted independence hated the idea of relying on a person. Earlier on my need to learn it all maybe came out of this.

My family is pretty supportive, even till now. But It was earlier on that I refused taking money or other things from them. Deciding to do that pushed me onto a sporadic journey of independence and self reliance. But eventually God provided and up till now I've been not accepting anything and I owe it all to God.

God didn't leave me all to my self, He kept on providing and taking care of me. So that's my secret too — I may not rely on my self, but even in my sinful days I trusted Him. I am very grateful of this fact. My finances are the things I want to keep relying on God for.

I don't mean to advice this on all you young folks as this could lead to so much worry and stuff. It's okay to be young and focus on certain things while letting your family support you. A child should be a child. But do take on willful responsibilities that's where growth is. The simplest of which is not cheating on exams. That forces you to study and not depend on others, so start with that too.

God is alive and not confined to the bible. Those stories are examples of His power, faithfulness, mercy and love. Those are the examples to change our mindset about God. It is what we build our lives on top of.

After that it is important to see God moving and acting within our lives. We can't be ignorant about that cause it's what will give you more answers, brings you closer to Him and more.

Something I've been getting asked a lot and also been hearing from the community a lot is about @Bekacru_c

There's this misconception that Bek is an average dude with no smarts that just happen to make a good product and get into YC. I understand that this came cause he said he doesn't read books and said things lightly in his podcasts.

But I know for a fact you don't know him as much. Because Bek is very intelligent and extremely talented. Way before YC he was very set out on building his company and applying to YC. He knows programming very well too.

Not only that but bek is my mentor when it comes to spiritual things. I literally goto him whenever I'm battling with something spiritual and he counsels me.

So please stop asking and talking about the story as if some rando accidentally built something nice. He is veryyy intelligent and has been a very smart Christian and laid his trust on God. (So much so that the better auth merch includes bible verses in disguise)

So key take away is to trust God and hope that He will bless the work you do.
