So anyways I started building a browser from scratch. 👀 ... Yeah I got problems of starting new projects during final exam season. 😅 Will showcase a working prototype in the coming few days after exams. 😊 #MyProjects @Dagmawi_Babi
A little more info about the browser I'm building.
• It's MINIMAL (asf)
• It's a terminal browser
• Midway building it and the lines between a scraper and a browser are blurring
• Currently supports a few homepages
• Using Rust, tokio, reqwest, crossterm
• Will upload a demo when atleast one simple website functions expectedly

I always wondered why LadyBird browser builders used websites to build their browsers around... Makes complete sense now. And I'm so impressed at what they're able to do.
I thought browsers were just simple web scrapers and that was it. WEFFF it's so much more. I'm going the terminal browser route cause I don't even wanna bother with css styling.
I can't even imagine what Firefox and Chrome have been able to accomplish. Incredibly impressed. And completely out of my league for now!
