Finally, here's a show that no one ever knows. It's called Wicked Science. I've never ever found anyone who's watched it. But it was genuinely so perfect. It introduced me to love and relationships too aside from so much theoretical science.

I stumbled across this pilot episode of a new biblical comedy series called The Promised Land and I couldn't stop laughing. Like broo I've never laughed this much about a Christian comedic show.
The whole episode has the style of The Office as we follow Moses leading the Israelites to The Promised Land. It's just lovely, hilarious and surprisingly educational. I want so much more of it.

So I've finished watching the first 4 episodes of Fikir Eske Mekabr and it was very beautiful. Slow plot escalation but emotionally intriguing.
And as always I went on a little obsession island and I was listening to the launch discussion a year ago and also some radio interviews.
I found out that it's going to have 48 Episodes, which was shocking to me cause keeping a show running for that long in high quality is absolutely challenging and so expensive.
The 48 Episodes are grouped into 4 seasons as follows:
Season 1
• Episodes 1 - 12
Season 2
• Episodes 13 - 24
Season 3
• Episodes 25 - 36
Season 4
• Episodes 37 - 48
And what's even impressive is that among the 48 Episodes, 36 have been completed and currently they're filming the last season.
The show was initially proposed to WaltaTV but lack of funding made them pass it on to ETV which finally funded the show (and I think the PMO was also involved in funding it)
I still couldn't get the exact amount of funding they're spending on it but they've said that they built a small village for the scenes, made constumes, props and more from scratch. Which's so impressive for Ethiopia.
To keep their tight schedule they had to shoot 6 days a week straight. And they've been recording the episodes in Bahirdar through out last year which's crazy cause there was war there.
Overall I love the slow pace, it gives us room to get comfortable with the characters and savor every scene. The story, the acting, the music, the cinematography is just flawless.
This's the first time I'm caring and I'm being committed to an Amharic show and it's been so lovely so far. It's making me like certain things I've hated about the Ethiopian culture and environment.
Overall, I highly recommend it, it's beautiful and just so lovely to binge watch.
