It's actually not intimidating. It's pretty easy if you're good with flutter. But I reckon not everyone is so here are other epic ways you can contribute to the project
Code Contributions
• You can look at the open issues people submitted and try to fix those
• if you've got new feature ideas, go for it
Graphics Contributions
• You can make illustrations for use cases and guides
• You can make promo content for social media
• You can make website UI designs for the project
• You can make a logo alternatives
General Contributions
• Try to break the app and report issues

So I was on my GitHub feed and I was seeing a bunch of stars coming in and I was like what on Earth is going on.
So I figured someone posted about it somewhere popular. So I searched it up and a YouTube channel called How to Men, that has more than 765k subscribers posted a video that has a portion about ScholArxiv. And people are now coming in and using the app. 🤯
Also seeing my app run on the latest Pixel phone is pretty cool.🥳

Just verified that ScholArxiv runs flawlessly on iOS with all features tested. 🔥
Problem is I'm not willing to pay $100 every year to put an open source and free app on the Apple AppStore. Atleast until it can be monetized.🙂

This is a great DX contribution to ScholArxiv by @Yohan_nes 🔥
It's a great CI/CD workflow where PR's and Merges will initiate a build and send me an apk file here in telegram making my life a lot easier and also allow me to test contributed whereever I am.
Since ScholArxiv is opensource so it the CI/CD we used, so you can configure it to your own flutter projects as well. All you have to do is configure your secret vars in your github repo.

I don't see a lot of women contributing to my open source projects so every once in a blue moon when I see one it brightens my day. Good Job Merbebt on a really fine contribution to the ScholarXIV app.
On my social projects and initiative, women are probably one of the first to volunteer, support and work with me. But when it comes to software projects I've had like only 2 or 3 women contributing in my entire github history.
So I'd like to say don't be afraid, gather the courage and come have fun. I know you've got the skills, don't hold back and whatever you don't know we'll be there and guide you through. ❤️
