I found out that we humans don't have sensors for wetness so we can't actually feel wetness like some animals do. We only have temperature and texture sensors, that's how we know we're wet.

If you're curious what that date is it is Unix time and it is the number of seconds that passed since 00:00:00 on Thursday, 1 January 1970 UTC which is referred to as the Unix epoch. It's usually used in computing to keep track of time.

But it has some limitations like:
• Year 2038 Problem: Times after 03:14:07 UTC on 19 January 2038 will require computers to store the value as greater than 32-bits. Systems built on 32-bits processors will crash.
• Pre-1970 Timestamps: any timestamp prior to 1970 needs to be represented as a negative number

Early Unix engineers picked that date arbitrarily because they needed to set a uniform date for the start of time, and New Year's Day, 1970, seemed most convenient.
