This movie was made back in 2001 and it's completely understandable why it was considered to be so great. While the story is very nice, the visuals and environment is so engulfing. Throughout the movie, not only did I feel like I was completely immersed but living in a different universe even outside of the movie.
Idk how to navigate all the witchery, dark magic, spirits and stuff as a Christian but aside from that you can find some iconic memes and references in the movie, and you'll definitely enjoy watching it.
I saw the 3:48hr version, which took me like 3 consecutive days a week ago. But it was very nice and thrilling too. If you enjoy playing DnD you're definitely going to enjoy watching this.
