Summary
A renowned US-based IT consulting firm that specializes in SAP Business Partnering, Consulting & Tech Talents Outsourcing (Software Engineering & Data Science) is seeking highly motivated, high-achieving, ambitious, and energetic candidates for the position of Merchant Acquisition Executives in its Nigerian offices. Well-organized, flexible individuals enjoy the challenge of timely delivery. Having the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. Good communication skills and attention are equally important.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be responsible for identifying merchants’ needs and providing expertise to offer the right solution for merchants.
• Develop and execute a strategic merchant acquisition plans
• Close deals, build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective merchants
• Track and report on agreed merchant acquisition metrics timely.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new merchants.
• Forecasts and tracks merchants’ account metrics consistently, responds to complaints, and resolves issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Exceed sales targets & performance-based goals while working independently
• The ability to conduct cold calls and walk-ins, schedule in-person meetings, and sell our products.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS
• You have successfully completed a minimum of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) and above
• A Fresh graduate, is encouraged to apply or have at least 1 to 2 years of work experience in consulting, e-commerce, or tech start-ups
• Background in Sales, Marketing, Business Development or Management Consulting is compulsory
• Strong analytical & intuition skills
• Close proximity to Lagos Island & Victoria Island, Lekki Phase 1 and Ikeja (for the Lagos Office) is an added advantage
