Phnom Penh, 29th November 2024- The Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology (CADT) is delighted to celebrate the language translation program “Machine Translations for Khmer Braille” by researchers of IDRI, CADT in collaboration with the National Institute of Special Education for the winner of the “Best Digital Research and Innovation of the Year” in the “Cambodia Digital Awards 2024”, presided over by H.E. Chea Vandeth, Minister of Posts and Telecommunications, which was held at Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Cambodia Digital Awards, organized by the General Department of ICT of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, 64 applicants from public and private institutions competed for the best digital products/services in the country.
“Machine Translations for Khmer Braille” applies artificial intelligence technology and is designed to translate Khmer Braille script into Khmer language script.

គូសបញ្ជាក់ផងដែរថា កម្មវិធីបកប្រែភាសាខ្មែរប្រៃយ៍ គឺជាបច្ចេកវិទ្យាដែលប្រើប្រាស់បញ្ញាសិប្បនិម្មិតដើម្បីបកប្រែពីភាសាខ្មែរ ទៅភាសាខ្មែរប្រៃយ៍ ហើយត្រូវបានបង្កើតឡើងជាពិសេសដើម្បីផ្ដល់ភាពងាយស្រួលដល់គ្រូបង្រៀនក្នុងការរៀបចំឯកសារអានជាអក្សរខ្មែរប្រៃយ៍ជូនដល់កុមារ និងសិស្សានុសិស្សដែលពិការភ្នែកឬខ្សោយគំហើញឱ្យកាន់តែបានលឿននិងមានប្រសិទ្ធភាពខ្ពស់។
