L’IA di Elon Musk fornisce risposte in tempo reale basate su tweet (post) condivisi sulla piattaforma, ma la sua affidabilità è limitata.

Dopo lo sbarco in Uk, Grok fa il suo debutto anche in UE. Da oggi è disponibile anche in Italia, e negli altri 26 paesi che compongono l’Unione Europea, solo per gli abbonati Premium su X.

Grok è l’#intelligenzaartificiale di xAI, la società di IA lanciata da Elon Musk a luglio dello scorso anno.

Grok e il suo sbarco in UE, senza stories

Da quel poco che si sa, non ci sono grandi limiti di utilizzo, non è stato diramato alcun comunicato che spieghi nel dettaglio. Ma dai post condivisi su X, si sa che Grok può essere usato dagli utenti UE senza particolari restrizioni. Quello che manca in realtà sono le “Grok stories”. Vale a dire i riassunti delle notizie da parte di Grok.

Pare che questa funzionalità verrà estesa in UE solo dopo le imminenti #elezionieuropee.

E questo perché, evidentemente, la capacità di elaborazione dei contenuti da parte di Grok non appare molto affidabile al momento.

E perché questo?

Grok si alimenta con in contenuti di X

Semplicemente perché, a differenza di altri modelli di IA Generativa, Grok non reperisce dati e informazioni dall’esterno. Infatti, l’IA di Elon Musk risponde alle varie richieste sulla base di ciò che elabora da X. Si alimenta dei contenuti condivisi sulla piattaforma di Elon Musk.

E questo rappresenta un grande limite e un grande rischio, in termini di affidabilità e sicurezza delle informazioni.

Esempio di affidabilità discutibile
Vi porto un esempio concreto. Nel tentativo di testare le sue potenzialità, ho chiesto a Grok di spiegarmi meglio cosa potesse fare, e cosa no, l’utente UE. La risposta è stata molto generica, con un tono smaccatamente “amichevole”. Ma i link che mi ha fornito per approfondire erano dei link a tweet (post).

Link a tweet di account, verificati, con appena 60 follower, che presentano una timeline di contenuti condivisi da far venire i brividi, per volgarità e inaffidabilità.
