I am sure a number of you have seen this on social media already. This is a call for submission of an essay  for the 2019 edition of the East Africa IHL essay competition.   
This year's theme is around the continued relevance of the Geneva Conventions-which will turn 70 this year!!! 

I have attached the electronic poster,PLEASE SHARE IT WITH YOUR STUDENTS!!! 
You know Ethiopia had won this competition for the past three consecutive years and Ethiopian students should strive to keep the title!!!:) 

ALE! having the great appreciation as usual ,I would like to inform you that,voices from you as well as from members of the channel are not as easy as to download,hence is it from the problem of network proxy or is because of the reason they are not uploaded properly,or wil be loaded when fully recorded? though I have dowloaded few of them I am unable to download most of them eventhough I am repeatedly tried the same.please make it easier to down load as much as possible! respect for doing so! good time and i wish good luck for all candidates of the 2011 national exit exam of Ethiopian law school students! This is yet another call from the ICRC to interested scholars and practitioners to submit their work, published between 1 September 2018 and 31 August 2019. The published work shall be an article in a peer reviewed journal, a book chapter or a book, by a scholar from Africa, in the field of IHL. This includes works accepted for publication, and in final proof, prior to August 2019. Submissions must be received by 2 September 2019. 
Please circulate this as widely as possible.
