Am observing that some colleagues have raise the issue related to one student in AAU suicide in relation to exit exam dismissal.
Though the examiner could be liable in administrative way provided that he have acted against the regulation to the examination,I think to call for criminal liability to the inst as to the death of the student will be impossible and the case have been escalated too much,the name of the examiner should not be mentioned on the new either since would endanger the inst security.

hello this is ruth and i wanted to ask some questions for my paper

- is there any law regarding gig economy in Ethiopia? which sector is currently guiding RIDE? and does the current guiding law protect the interests of the consumers?

The supervisor was simply doing his/her job. It was a suicide, nothing more. The supervisor didn't suggest he should kill himself nor did he/she provide the gas. The student decided, on his own, to end his life. This is the reality. There is no need to blame others. If anything, the supervisor is a person of principle for sticking to the rules on punctuality.

While its true that there is no legal ground to hold the supervisor accountable for the suicide of the student, i dont think he did something to be praised about.
1st of all there is always an exception to principles. Punctuality is of course something to promote. However, you can’t always be punctual for reasons beyond ur control.
Secondly, here is a blind student who got to exit exam despite all the odds working against him. We all know exit exam is a life and death situation for a law student. We all know how stressful it is. Particularly this year’s exit exam was harder for the exam takers. I can’t even imagine their frustration. And Abraham was left with the last exam mind you.
Bottom line the supervisor should’ve given his ears when he should’ve. His act is not about him following protocol. He simply said no cause he thinks he can.

Ok..well but one queastion arise for u..the queastion is how about the cause and effect relationship of the crime..am rise these if the supervisor is permit to take the exam may be the student is not take any action on him even the action is taken by the studente b/c of the act of the supervisor..if it is permit it is not take the action..and also any laws or regulation they have an exception to the pple..that is the pple exception is a good couse so the student is they have a good couse to prove these without proof i.e it is a bliend as you sayd erlier and also to forget the exam code..l think the supervisor is liable for the death of the student in my perception...

በዚህ ረገድ በርካታ ተቋማትና ግለሰቦች የአካል ጉዳተኞችን ሰብአዊና ዴሞክራሲያዊ መብቶችን ሲጥሱ አስተማሪ ቅጣት የሚሰጡ የህግ ማውቀፎች የላሉ መሆናቸዉና የወጡ ህጎችም በተገቢዉ ባለመተርጎማቸዉ በአካል ጉዳተኖች ላይ ብዙ በደሎች እየተፈጸሙ ይገኛል።
ከዚህ ጋር ተያይዞ ሰሞኑን በወጣት አብርሃም ዱሬሳ ላይ የተፈጸመዉ ድርጊት ሰብአዊነት የጎደለዉ መሆኑን በመግለጽ መንግስት አስፈላጊዉን ክትትል እንዲያደርግ እና ድርጊቱን ህዝቡ እንዲያወግዘው የኢትዮጵያ አካል ጉዳተኞች ማህበራት ፌዴሬሽን አጥብቆ ጠይቋል።
በወጣቱ ህልፈተ ህይወቱ የተሰማዉን ጥልቅ ሀዘን እየገለጸ ለወዳጅ ዘመዶቹ መጽናናትን ይመኛል።

ታሪኩ በአጭሩ!
የመጀመሪያ ዲግሪውን ከዲላ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በህግ ትምህርት ቤት ያገኘ ሲሆን ህይወቱ እስካለፈችበት ቀን ድረስ ደግሞ በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ የህግ ትምህርት የመውጫ ፈተና ከሚፈተኑ ተማሪዎች መካከል አንዱ ነበር።
የመውጫ ፈተናውን ማክሰኞ፣ ረቡዕ እና ሀሙስ በሰላም ተፈትኖ የመጨረሻው የፈተና ዕለት ማለትም አርብ የመፈተኛ ኮዱን ረስቶ ወደ ስድስት ኪሎ ግቢ ይሄዳል። ካለ መፈተኛ ኮዱ መግባት ስለማይችል ወደ ቤቱ ሽሮ ሜዳ ተመልሶ የመፈተኛ ኮዱን ይዞ ሲመጣ የመፈተኛ ሰዓት አልፏል ይባላል።
ፈተናው ከጠዋቱ 3፡30 የሚጀመር ሲሆን አብርሃም ግን አስር ደቂቃ ዘግይቶ 3፡40 ይደርሳል። ሱፐርቫይዘሩ መግባት እንደማይችል ሲነግረው ስላረፈደበት ምክንያት ሊያስረዳ ይሞክራል። ተማሪ አብርሃም_ዱሬሳም በተለያየ መንገድ ይማፀናል። አይነ_ስውር መሆኑን ታሳቢ አድርገው እንዲተባበሩት ቢለምንም ፈተናውን እንዲወስድ ግን አልፈቀዱለትም ።
ፈተናውን መፈተን ባለመቻሉ ሲያለቅስ ፥ ሲበሳጭ ይውላል። ምሽት ላይ ወደ ቤቱ በመግባትም ቤቱን ዘግቶ በራሱ ላይ ጋዝ አርከፍክፎ ከፍተኛ ቃጠሎ እንደደረሰበትና በኋላም ወደ የካቲት 12 ሆስፒታል ተወስዶ ህክምና ቢያገኝም ቃጠሎው ከፍተኛ ስለነበር ህይወቱ ማለፉ ታውቋል!!
ለአካል ጉዳተኞች ጥንቃቄን እናድርግ!

ምክትል ጠቅላይ አቃቤ ህግ አቶ ገለታ ስዩም እንዳሉት የኮሮና ቫይረስን በሚመለከት በፖሊስ ጣቢያዎች እየተሰሩ ያሉ ተግባራትንና ተጠርጣሪን ከመያዝ ጀምሮ መጠበቅ ያለባቸዉ የሰብአዊ አያያዝ ሂደት ምን እንደሚመስል መመልከት በዋናነት ጉብኝቱ ትኩረቱን ያደረገባቸዉ ጉዳዮች መሆናቸዉን አንስተዋል፡፡

የክፍለ ከተሞቹ የፖሊስ መምሪያ ሀላፊዎች በምክትል ጠቅላይ ዐቃቤ ሀጉ የተነሱ ጥያቄዎችን አስመልክቶ ስላለዉ ሁኔታ ምላሽ የሰጡ ሲሆን በተቻለ መጠን የሰብአዊ መብት ጥሰት እንዳይኖር ለማድረግ ትኩረት ተሰጥቶ እየተሰራ እንደሚገኝ ገልፀዋል፡፡

የዉሀ ችግርና ተጠርጣሪን ለማቆየት በተለይም የፍርድ ቤት ታሳሪዎች የሚቆዩበት ፖሊስ ጣቢያዎች ላይ መጨናነቅ እየተፈጠረ መሆኑ በልደታ ክፍለ ከተማ ፖሊስ መምሪያ የተነሱ ችግሮች ሲሆኑ ተጠርጣሪዎቹ የኮቪድ ምርመራ እየተደረገ አለመሆኑ ደግሞ በቂርቆስ ከፍለ ከተማ ፖሊስ መመሪያ በኩል የተነሱ ችግሮች ናቸዉ፡፡

በሌላ በኩል በልደታ ክፍለ ከተማ ፖሊስ መምሪያ በኩል ከኮቪድ 19 ጋር በተያያዘም የግንዛቤ ማስጨበጫ ስራዎች እየተሰሩ መሆኑንና ተጠርጣሪዎች በየ ሳምንቱ ምርመራ እየተደረገላቸዉ እንደሚገኝ አንስተዉ ሆኖም ግን ቅድመ መከላከልን አስመልክቶ በፊት ሲቀርቡ የነበሩ ቁሳቁሶች ባለመቅረባቸዉ ምክንያት መዘናጋት እንደተፈጠረ አንስተዋል፡፡

በፖሊስ ጣቢያዎች የሚገኙ ተጠርጣሪዎች በበኩላቸዉ በተለይም ወደ ጣቢያዉ ሲያመጡን በአንዳንድ አባላት ተደብድበናል፣ የምግብ አቅርቦትና የንፅህና ችግሮች አሉብን ሲሉ ያነሱ ሲሆን የተነሱ ችግሮችን አስመልክቶ ምክትል ጠቅላይ ዐቃቤ ህጉ ለተነሱ ችግሮች መፍትሄ መስጠት እንደሚገባ ገልፀዉ `በተለይም የሰብአዊ መብትን ከአያያዝን በሚመለከት በተጠርጣሪዎች የተነሱ ቅሬታዎች በትኩረት በማየት አጣርቶ በዚህ ተግባር የተሳተፉ አካላትን ተጠያቂ ማድረግ እንደሚገባ አሳስበዋል፡፡

ከኮቪድ ምርመራ ጋር በተያያዘም ከጤና ጥበቃ ጋር በመነጋገር ምርመራ መካሄድ እንደሚገባዉና ተጠርጣሪዎች ወደ ጣቢያዉ እንደመጡ መመርመር ቢችሉ እንዲሁም አዲስ የገቡትን ምርመራ እስኪደረግላቸዉ ድረስ በክፍል መለየት ቢቻል የሚሉ አስተያየቶች የተሰጡ ሲሆን በዋናነት ያጠፋ አካል ላጠፋበት ወንጀል መጠየቁ እንዳለ ሆኖ የሰብአዊ መብት አያያዝ ላይ ግን ትኩረት መሰጠት እንደሚገባዉ ተገልጧል፡፡

ዓቃቤ ሕግና ፖሊስ አብረዉ መስራት የጀመረቱም በዋናነት እነዚህንና መሰል የሰብአዊ መብት አያያዝ ችግሮችን ለማስቀረት መሆኑም በጉብኝቱ ተጠቁሟል፡፡

My mum had a friend, she lost her husband shortly after they got married. She has little children and her in-laws did not treat her nicely.

She started a small business, selling food stuffs. One day I went to buy things from her and as usual if I notice she is moody I would cheer her up like my mum did.

She told me a lady came to her shop and mocked her with widowhood. They had an argument that had nothing to do with widowhood so I wondered why the lady brought it up.

Two years later, the mocker became a widow and her in laws threw her our of their mansion on the grounds that they were not legally/traditionally married.

The woman lost weight in a week and left the area.

In all your dealings with people, do not mock their predicament. Everything you have is a gift and it can be taken away from you anytime.
