የኤልሰቤጥ ከበደ የፍ/ቤት ሂደት ስለማሳወቅ

• የማህበራችን አባል እና በጎ ፈቃደኛ ወ/ት ኤልሳቤጥ ከበደ ከአዲስ አበባ ወደ ሀረሪ ክልል በቀን 27/7/2012 ዓ.ም እንድትወሰድ መደረጉን ተከትሎ የአዲስ አበባ ፖሊስ ወንጀል ምርመራ ዘርፍ በጉዳዩ ላይ ዝርዝር ማብራሪያ እንዲሰጡን በቀን 29/7/2012ዓ.ም በደብዳቤ.ቁ EWLA/6499/12 የጠየቅን ቢሆንም እስካሁን ምላሽ ሊሰጡን አልቻሉም፡፡

• ይህ በእንዲህ እንዳለ ወ/ት ኤልሳቤጥ በተጠረጠረችበት ወንጀል በሀረሪ ክልል ከፍተኛው ፍ.ቤት እየተከታተለች የምትገኝ ሲሆን የተጠረጠረችበት ወንጀል ከኮቪድ-19 ወረርሽኝ ጋር በተገናኘ በማህበራዊ ሚዲያ ላይ ሀሰተኛ መረጃ በማሰራጨት እና በምታሰራጨው ሀሰተኛ ጽሁፎች ብሄር ከብሄር እና ሀይማኖት ከሀይማኖት በማጋጨት የሚሉ መሆናቸው እንደተገለጸላት ለማወቅ ችለናል፡፡፡

• ወ/ት ኤልሳቤጥ የተጠረጠረችበት በወንጀል ህግ ስነ ስርአት መሰረት በሀረሪ ክልል ፍ.ቤት ስልጣን ስር የማይወድቅ በመሆኑ ፍ/ቤቱ መዝገቡን ዘግቶ እንዲያሰናብታት ብትጠይቅም በችሎቱ ተቀባይነት ሳያገኝ መቅረቱን፣ ከዚህም በላይ ወ/ት ኤልሳቤጥ በፍ/ቤት ከነበሩት አራት ቀጠሮዎች ውስጥ በሁለቱ እንድትቀርብ ሳይደረግ በሌለችበት መዝግቡ መታየቱን ቤተሰቦችዋ ገልጸዋል፡፡

• ጉዳዩ አሁን ባለበት የምርመራ ደረጃ ላይ በህግ ስልጣን ከተሰጠው ፖሊስ የምዝገባ መዝገቡን አደራጅቶ ሳያጠናቅቅ ከፖሊሱ በተጨማሪ አቃቤ ሀግ በመዝገቡ ክስ ሳይመሰረት በፊት ፍ/ቤት ቸሎት በመቅረብ ክርክር እያቀረበ የሚገኝ ሲሆን ምላሽ እንዲሰጥም በፍ/ቤቱ ዳኛ አድል እየተሰጠው እንደሚገኝ ፍ/ቤቱ ከሰጠው ትእዛዝ ለመረዳት ችለናል፡፡

• ዋስትናን በተመለከተ ምርመራው ሳያልቅ በዋስ ብትለቀቅ መረጃ ታጠፋለች በማለት ወ/ሪት ኤልሳቤጥ የዋስትና መብትዋ እንዲከበር ያቀረበችውን ጥያቄ ባለመቀበል ፍ/ቤቱ ጊዜ ቀጠሮ እስከ 26/08/2012 ፈቅዷል፡፡ በድጋሚ ከዋስትናው ጋር በተገናኘ ፍ/ቤቱ ለ29/8/2012 ዓ.ም ቀጠሮ መስጠቱ ግልጽ ባለመሆኑ ማህበራችን ይህንኑ እያጣራ ይገኛል፡፡ ሆኖም መረጃ በቀላሉ ከፌስቡክ ገጽዋ ላይ በሰአታት ፖሊስ መሰብሰብ ይችላል፡፡

• የወ/ት ኤልሳቤጥን ጉዳይ እየታየ ያለው በሀረሪ ክልል ከፍተኛ ፍርድ ቤት እንደመሆኑ ተቋማችን ወ/ት ኤልሳቤጥ ትክክለኛ ፍትህን ለማግኘት እንድትችል ጠበቃ ለመወከል ጥረት እያደረገ ቢሆንም ያነጋገርናቸው የክልሉ የጥብቅና ፈቃድ ያላቸው ባለሙያዎች ግልጽ ባልሆነ ምክንያት ጉዳዩን ለመያዝ ፈቃደኛ አይደሉም፡፡ ከክልሉ የተገኙ ተመደበው የነበሩት ጠበቃም የዋስትና አቤቱታውን ለፍርድ ቤት ካቀረቡ በኋላ በግል ምክንያት መቀጠል እንደማይችሉ ገልጸው አቋርጠውታል፡፡ በዚህም ምክንያት በማህበራችን ዋና ፅ/ቤት በሚገኙ የህግ ባለሙያዎች እንዲሁም ድሬደዋ ቅርንጫፍ አማካይነት ጉዳዩን እየተከታተለን ሲሆን፤

ማህበራችን የወ/ሪት ኤልሳቤጥን ጉዳይ እስከመጨረሻው ከሚመለከታቸው የመንግስት እና የሰብዓዊ መብት ድርጅቶች ጋር በመስራት ተገቢውን ፍትህ የማሰጠት ስራ አጠናክሮ የሚቀጥል መሆኑን እንዲሁም በቀጣይ ያሉ የፍርድ ሂደቶችንም እንደምናሳውቅ እንገልፃለን፡፡

(ሚያዚያ 15, 2012 ዓም) የጅማ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ተማሪዎች በሰስቴን ዲያሎግ ፕሮጅክት በፋሲሊተርነት እና ሞደረቴርነት ይከፈላቸው የነበረውን ገንዘብ በማዋጣት ለ30 አቅመ ደካማ የጊንጆ ቀበሌ ነዋሪዎች እርዳታ አድርገዋል።

ተማሪዎቹ ይህን መልካም ተግባር ያከናዎኑት በያሉበት በመሆን በማህበራ ሚዲያ በመገናኘትና በጅማ በሚገኙ የተማሪዎች ህብረት ተወካዮች አማካኝነት ሲሆን በርክክብ ስነስርዓቱም ላይ የቀበሌው ተወካዮችና የተማሪዎች አገልግሎት ኃላፊዎች ተገኝተዋል፡፡

Job Description

The Assistant Legal Officer is a member of the protection team in the country office. He/she will report to the Protection Officer (IDPs).  The Assistant Legal Officer is relied upon by the office to support UNHCR’s work on domestic law and policy in relation to IDPs in Ethiopia among other IDP-related tasks.  He/she will 1) Arrange meetings, workshops and trainings with government authorities and other stakeholders 2) Undertake legal analysis and research, particularly into domestic law 3) Provide technical support and capacity development to authorities to implement the 2009 Kampala Convention.  The incumbent also acts as an advisor to management on Ethiopian law and represents the organization to authorities, UN sister agencies, partners and other stakeholders on protection doctrine, law and policy.
