On June 26, 2021, a monumental milestone was achieved as AFLEX officially inaugurated the African Leadership Excellence Academy. This was a day that marked the beginning of a new era in leadership development, aligning with Ethiopia’s Vision for Prosperity. 🌍💫
As reported by New Business Ethiopia, Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed led the inauguration of the academy, a state-of-the-art facility designed to cultivate world-class leadership for the future.
The sprawling green campus is equipped with everything needed for growth: a 600-person auditorium, cafes, a student cafeteria, a fitness center, meeting halls, a library, classrooms, and student dormitories. 🏛📚
Formerly known as the Meles Zenawi Leadership Academy, the institution has undergone extensive renovations, including a change in curriculum and its name, all to better serve its purpose of shaping Africa's next generation of leaders.

We are thrilled to announce that the China National Academy of Governance and AFLEX have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking the start of a powerful partnership focused on training and research. 🤝✨

As reported by Africa-Press, this MoU was signed by Professor Gong Weibin, Vice President of the China National Academy of Governance, and signifies a new turning point in the long-standing friendship between Ethiopia and China. 🇪🇹🇨🇳
