May 30, 2024 – SULULUTA /AFLEX/ - In a significant step towards advancing gender equality, #African_Leadership_Excellence_Academy (#AFLEX) held a pivotal assessment and planning workshop in collaboration with public leadership for Gender Equality (#PL4GE) team.
During the event, the President of AFLEX, #Zadig_Abrera, initiated the participants not to challenge women but rather to make the necessary sacrifices to invest in women and promote #gender_equality.

During the event, the President of AFLEX, #Zadig_Abrera, initiated the participants not to challenge women but rather to make the necessary sacrifices to invest in women and promote #gender_equality.
Day #1 With 30 participants, 15 from Ethiopia and 15 from Sudan, and in collaboration with Stanford University; CIPE Africa organized its Leadership Academy for Development #LAD program @AFLEX #African_leadership_excellence_academy , in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Day #2 of the Strategic Management of Policy Reform intensive five-day training workshop which is taking place from June 24 to June 28 @AFLEX #African_leadership_excellence_academy, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia facilitated by Center for International Private Enterprise and Stanford University’s Leadership Academy for Development. This training program was designed by LAD to stimulate decision-makers in difficult environments as they tackle their countries' most complex economic problems. Participants from Ethiopia and Sudan will work in small groups to analyze policy scenarios and learn about evidence-based decision-making. The training program is provided by Professors Kent Weaver and Ken Opalo .

#AFLEX Secures #400_Million_RMB from Chinese Government.
Mr. Zhao Fengtao Vice Chairman of China International Development Cooperation Agency (CIDCA) introduced the Global Development Initiative (GDI) under CIDCA for the implementation.
The vice chairman identified four priority areas for future cooperation. To support #African_Leadership_Excellence_academy, Supporting new projects with a grant of 400 million RMB, Supporting private and public sector projects with GDI special fund, and Due attention for human development.
