የአፍሪካ አመራር ልህቀት አካዳሚ እና የአፍሪካ ከተማ ላብ የከተማ አመራር ልማት እና ፈጠራን ለማሳደግ የመግባቢያ ስምምነት ተፈራረሙ።

ዛንዚባር - የአፍሪካ አመራር ልህቀት አካዳሚ (AFLEX) እና የአፍሪካ ከተማ ላብ (AUL) በአፍሪካ ውስጥ የከተማ አመራር ልማትን፣ የአመራር ምርምርን እና ፈጠራን ለማስፋፋት የሚያስችል አዲስ የትብብር ስምምነት ተፈራረሙ።

ስምምነቱን የፈረሙት የአፍሌክስ ፕሬዝዳንት አቶ ዛዲግ አብርሃ እና የ AUL መስራች እና ዋና ዳይሬክተር ኩርት ሎክሃርት ናቸው።

ይህ ስትራቴጂያዊ አጋርነት ከአመራር ልማት ፕሮግራሞች ጋር በተያያዘ በአፍሪካ የሚያጋጥሙ ተግዳሮቶችን ለመሻገር እና ዕድሎችን ለመጠቀም፤ ተተኪ አፍሪካውያን የከተማ መሪዎችን በክህሎት፣ በእውቀት እና በኔትወርክ የሚያስታቅፉ ፕሮግራሞችን በጋራ ማዘጋጀት እና መተግበርን ያካተተ ነው።

ስምምነቱ በአፍሪካ ውስጥ የምርምር እና የፖሊሲ ትንተና እንዲኖር የሚያስችል ሲሆን በከተማ አስተዳደር፣ ልማት እና ፈጠራ ላይ የጋራ ምርምር ማካሄድንም ይጨምራል።

በሁለቱም ተቋማት መካከል ያለውን የአመራር ልማት አቅም ለማዳበር የባለሙያ ልውውጥን ማመቻቸት የስምምነቱ አንድ አካል ሲሆን ይህም በአህጉሪቱ በከተማ አመራር ልማት ዘርፍ የማስተማር እና የምርምር አቅምን ለማጠናከር እንደሚረዳ ተገልጿል።

የአፍሌክስ ፕሬዝደንት አቶ ዛዲግ አብርሃ ስለ ስምምነቱ በሰጡት አስተያየት "ይህ ትብብር በከተሞቻቸው እና በማህበረሰባቸው ላይ አወንታዊ ለውጥ ማምጣት የሚችሉ መሪዎችን ለማብቃት ወሳኝ እርምጃ ነው። ጥረታችንን ከ AUL ጋር በማጣመር ለቀጣይ ዘላቂ መንገዶችን ለመፍጠር አላማ አለን" ብለዋል።

የ AUL መስራች እና ዋና ዳይሬክተር ኩርት ሎክሃርት በበኩላቸው "የአፍሪካ ከተማ ላብ ቀጣዩን የአፍሪካ ከተማ ገንቢዎችን ለመንከባከብ ቁርጠኛ ነው። ይህ አጋርነት ከፍተኛ ጥራት ያለው ስልጠና እና ምርምር የመስጠት አቅማችንን ያሳድጋል፣ ይህም ለከተማ ልማት ጠቃሚ ውጤቶችን በመላው አህጉር ይፈጥራል"ብለዋል።

ይህ ስትራቴጂያዊ አጋርነት በመላው አፍሪካ በከተማ አመራር ልማት እና ፈጠራ ላይ ከፍተኛ ሚና ይኖረዋል ተብሎ ይጠበቃል።

ተቋማቱ በጋራ በመስራት ያላቸውን አህጉር በቀል እውቀትና ሃብት ለአፍሪካ የከተማ ማዕከላት የበለፀገ እና ቀጣይነት ያለው የወደፊት ሁኔታ ለመፍጠር አስተዋፅኦ እንደሚያደርጉ ይታመናል።

በሰላም እና ደህንነት መስክ በጋራ ለመስራት የሚያስችል የመግባቢያ ስምምነት (MoU) #በአፍሌክስ እና #በኢፌዴሪ_መከላከያ_ዋር_ኮሌጅ መካከል ተፈርሟል።

ዛሬ በተከናወነው የጋራ መግባቢያ ስምምነት ላይ የሁለቱም ተቋማት ከፍተኛ አመራሮች የተገኙ ሲሆን፣ አፍሌክስን በመወከል የአካዳሚው #ፕሬዝደንት_አቶ_ዛዲግ_አብርሃ፣ በመከላከያ ዋር ኮሌጅ በኩል የኮሌጁ ዋና አዛዥ #ብርጋዴር_ጄኔራል #ቡልቲ_ታደሰ ስምምነቱን ፈርመዋል።

አቶ ዛዲግ ስምምነቱን ወደ ተግባር የመለወጥ ስራ በአስቸኳይ የሚከናወን መሆኑን ጠቅሰው፤ ስምምነቱ የመግባቢያ ብቻ ሳይሆን የትግበራ ሰነድም እንደሆነ ተናግረዋል። በተጨማሪም “ የመከላከያ ዋር ኮሌጅ ከተቋቋመ ጀምሮ ብቁ ወታደራዊ አመራር በማፍራት ረገድ ለሃገር እያበረከተ ላለው አስተዋጽዖ ምስጋና ይገባዋል” ብለዋል።

የመከላከያ ዋር ኮሌጅ ዋና አዛዥ ብ/ጄኔራል ቡልቲ ታደሰ በበኩላቸው “የመከላከያ ዋር ኮሌጅ ዋነኛ ተልዕኮ በጦርነት ጊዜ ብቻ ሳይሆን በሰላም ጊዜ ጭምር ስለጦርነት ማወቅ እና መረዳት የሚችል ወታደራዊ አመራር ማፍራት ነው፣ ይህ አመራር ደግሞ በስትራቴጂያዊ ደህንነት መስክ ጥልቅ እውቀት ሊኖረው ይገባል። ይህንን ለማስቻል በአመራር ልማት ዘርፍ ትልቅ ስራ እያከናወነ ካለው አፍሌክስ ጋር መስራት እንደሚገባን እናምናለን” ሲሉ የስምምነቱን አስፈላጊነት ገልጸዋል።

በንግግራቸውም በሰላም እና ደህንነት ዘርፉ ውጤታማ ስራን ለማስመዝገብ የሲቪል እና ወታደራዊ ትብብር በእጅጉ እንደሚያስፈልግ አጽንዖት ሰጥተዋል።

ዛሬ የተፈረመው የመግባቢያ ሰነድ ሁለቱ ተቋማት የሚተባበሩባቸውን መስኮች ያካተተ ሲሆን፣ ከነዚህም መካከል; በሰላም እና ደህንነት እንዲሁም በወታደራዊ አመራር መስክ ስልጠና እና ትምህርት ለመስጠት የሚያስችል ካሪኩለም ማበልጸግ፣ በጋራ ጥናታዊ ጽሁፎችን ማዘጋጀት እንዲሁም የባለሙያዎች ልውውጥ ማድረግ ተጠቃሽ ናቸው።

ሁለቱም ተቋማት ያላቸውን አቅም በጋራ በመጠቀም በሰላም እና ደህንነት መስክ የአመራር ልህቀት ለማስመዝገብ ቁርጠኛ መሆናቸውን ገልጸዋል።

"አፍሌክስ የተፈራረማቸውን ስምምነቶች ሁሉንም በፍጥነት ተግባራዊ እያደረገ ነው። የመከላከያ ዋር ኮሌጅ ስምምነትንም በፍጥነት ወደ ትግበራ ለማስገባት ስላቀደ "Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)" ብቻ ሳይሆን "Memorandum of Implementation (MoI)" ጭምር ነው።"

“የመከላከያ ዋር ኮሌጅ ዋነኛ ተልዕኮ በጦርነት ጊዜ ብቻ ሳይሆን በሰላም ጊዜ ጭምር ስለጦርነት ማወቅ እና መረዳት የሚችል ወታደራዊ አመራር ማፍራት ነው፣ ይህ አመራር ደግሞ በስትራቴጂያዊ ደህንነት መስክ ጥልቅ እውቀት ሊኖረው ይገባል። ይህንን ለማስቻል በአመራር ልማት ዘርፍ ትልቅ ስራ እያከናወነ ካለው አፍሌክስ ጋር መስራት እንደሚገባን እናምናለን”

#AFLEX Signs Memorandum of Understanding with #Lee_Kuan_Yew_School_of_Public_Policy
The African Leadership Excellence (AFLEX) is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, an autonomous postgraduate school under the National University of Singapore.

This partnership aims to enhance leadership development and capacity building across Ethiopia and Africa.
The MoU is signed by Mr. #Zadig_Abreha, President of AFLEX and Professor #Danny_Quah, Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. The collaboration marks a significant step towards fostering leadership excellence and policy research in the region.
Through the agreement, AFLEX and the Lee Kuan Yew School will collaborate to establish joint customized leadership development and capacity-building programs for executives and staff members across various sectors in Ethiopia and Africa.
Additionally, the partnership will facilitate the enrollment of African participants in Lee Kuan Yew’s postgraduate programs for executives, while promoting discussions and exchanges of expertise between the institutions on leadership development and policy research.
Professor Danny Quah expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "This MoU represents a significant commitment to investing in Africa's leadership capacity. We are excited to work with AFLEX to develop tailored programs that address the unique challenges faced by African leaders today."
Zadig Abreha also commented on the agreement, saying, "This collaboration is a cornerstone in our mission to foster excellence in leadership across the African continent. We believe that by leveraging the expertise of NUS, we can empower a new generation of leaders capable of driving positive change in their communities."
As both institutions seek to enhance leadership capabilities, the signing of this MoU marks the beginning of a strategic partnership expected to yield significant impacts on leadership education and development in Africa.
