On March 28 2025, a strong 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck the northeastern part of Mandalay, with its epicenter located in the region. Due to the earthquake, the fascist military junta declared a state of emergency in the six regions (Sagaing, Magway, Mandalay, Bago, Shan, and Nay Pyi Taw).

We urge all progressive and democratic forces to stand with the oppressed people of Burma affected by the earthquake. It is important to send aid and support directly to the people affected.

Call for Donations for Earthquake-Affected Communities

On Friday, March 28, 2025, a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck the central region of Myanmar, centering near Sagaing and Mandalay. The earthquake caused significant casualties and damage.
Urgent assistance is needed for search, rescue, and recovery efforts.
