#GoodNews Westies! We’ve just awarded the contract to operate the Jurong Region Line (#JRL) to the joint venture between SBS Transit Rail and RATP Dev Asia Pacific, a subsidiary of the French public transport operator, RATP Dev.
SBST Transit Rail and RATP Dev Asia Pacific will operate the line for 9 years, with an option to extend another 2 years. During this time, they have committed to use the experience of RATP Dev to build local capabilities in rail operations and maintenance.
JRL, our 7th MRT line, will open in phases from 2027. It’ll enhance connectivity in western Singapore, including NTU, Jurong Industrial Estate, and Jurong Innovation District.
The operator for CRL will be selected at a later stage.

Good news! The Johor Bahru – Singapore Rapid Transit System (#RTS) Link project is reaching another significant milestone. 🥳
🛤️ By the end of 2024, works will commence for the installation of the RTS Link rail systems, including the laying of tracks and signalling systems.
🚆 In 2025, we will also begin the works to connect the RTS Link to the existing Thomson-East Coast Line (#TEL) Woodlands North station at Basement 1. This will allow commuters to seamlessly transfer between RTS Link and our MRT network.

🏗️ Peek behind the scenes of Singapore's North-South Corridor construction (NSC)!
Connecting the north and the city through densely built-up areas, the #NSC is one of our most complex road projects. #DoYouKnow it will comprise the longest viaduct (8.8km) and road tunnel (12.3km) in Singapore?
While residents may experience inconvenience during construction, #RestAssured we're working hard to minimise disruptions. Where feasible, we're deploying innovative technologies to improve construction efficiency.
🎥 Watch to discover how we're boosting pre-cast production for the viaduct!
