#PSA 📢 We’ll be carrying out maintenance works on certain sections of the Sengkang-Punggol LRT (#SPLRT) on weekends from 5 Dec 2020 to 7 Mar 2021. This period excludes the Chinese New Year holiday weekend on 13 and 14 Feb 2021.

New Two-car Trains for Sengkang-Punggol LRT 🚇
Good news for Sengkang and Punggol residents! 🏡 We are doubling the number of two-car trains for the Sengkang-Punggol LRT (#SPLRT) with the purchase of 17 new ones to boost capacity from 2024 onwards!
The existing SPLRT depot will be expanded to accommodate these additional trains.

🚆 When works are in progress on one platform, train services will continue to operate as usual on the other. Temporary sound barriers will be installed in the work area to minimise noise levels to residents on the affected weekends.

📢 Hello Sengkang and Punggol residents! We’re adding 8️⃣ new two-car trains to the Sengkang-Punggol LRT (#SPLRT) network, bringing the total number of new trains to 25!
Slated for progressive delivery from 2024 onwards, these new trains will replace the existing one-car models and part of the existing two-car trains!

#GoodNews, we’ve just made some enhancements to Sengkang LRT station (#SPLRT)! 🎉
This includes two new boarding locations on the platform to allow the East and West service loops to have their own dedicated areas.
This will improve commuter flow and enhance commuter safety at the station.🚆

The first batch of our ✨NEW✨ Sengkang-Punggol LRT #SPLRT trains has just arrived on our shores today! 🤩
They are part of our fleet of 25 new two-car trains to cater to the increased ridership demand in Sengkang and Punggol. The remaining train cars are also progressively making their way to our sunny island. All train cars will be transported to Sengkang LRT Depot for thorough testing and commissioning before starting operations in Q3 2025. 🚅
