Investigation report on 14 October disruption to the NSEWL and CCL released

We’ve released our report on the 14 October disruption to the #NSEWL and #CCL. Our investigations confirmed that the primary cause of the disruption on the NSEWL was a faulty power cable and circuit breaker in the electrical zone on the Tuas West Extension.

These faulty components have since been replaced. Arising from this incident, we will put in place additional preventive measures to minimise the chances of a recurrence.

We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to commuters. We will learn from this as a team and collectively strengthen our systems, processes and responses.

Memorandum of Understanding signed to better protect PT workers against abusive acts

Today, the National Transport Workers’ Union (NTWU) and our four public transport operators (PTOs) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide our PT workers with better protection against abusive acts. This includes legal support should they wish to take civil action against the assailants and/or perpetrators.

We stand wholeheartedly with the NTWU and our PTOs to protect and support all our PT workers against any kind of abuse. #OneTransportFamily
