#GoodNews, residents of Sengkang and Punggol! Two new Sengkang-Punggol LRT (#SPLRT) vehicles have entered service this afternoon.
Another 23 two-car vehicles will join the network progressively to support the long-term ridership demand in the area.
Look forward to improved features such as:
🎨 Refreshed exterior and interior colour schemes
💺 Increased seating with improved comfort
💡 New LED lightings and improved air-conditioning system
🚨 New door close warning light strip

#ICYMI, the new two-car vehicles on Sengkang-Punggol LRT are now in service! 🤩 Since arriving on our shores in December 2024, these vehicles have undergone vigorous testing to ensure smooth and comfortable journeys for you.
More two-car vehicles will be making their way to our shores, gradually replacing the first-generation vehicles!
