Starting from 1 June 2024, EZ-Link adult cards which have not been upgraded to #SimplyGo and NETS FlashPay cards cannot be used 🙅♂️to pay for public transport fares.
EZ-Link adult cardholders are encouraged to upgrade their cards to SimplyGo at ticketing machines at public transport nodes 🚄🚌.

We will be extending the existing adult card-based ticketing (CBT) system to run it in parallel with the #SimplyGo system.
This extension will continue to give adult commuters the option of using their EZ-Link and NETS FlashPay cards or their SimplyGo-compatible cards on public transport. 🚌🚇💳
Adult EZ-Link cardholders who have converted to SimplyGo between 9 and 22 Jan 2024 and Concession cardholders who have converted to SimplyGo on or before 22 Jan 2024 will have the option to exchange their card to a CBT EZ-Link or Concession card for free, if they wish to do so.
More details about the card exchange will be shared by end-Feb 2024.

Starting from 7 Sept 2024, students with the Ministry of Education Primary, Secondary and Junior College/Millennia Institute concession card can choose to convert their School Smart Cards (#SSC) to a #SimplyGo Concession Card. This option is introduced in response to feedback from parents and students, 🧑🎓🏫This voluntary conversion can be done at selected ticketing machines in all MRT stations and bus interchanges. 🚆🚌
Converting the SSC to a SimplyGo Concession Card and then pairing it with the SimplyGo app will enable parents to:
✔️Top-up the card remotely,
✔️Purchase Monthly Concession Pass on the go,
✔️Block lost cards instantly and arrange for remaining value to be refunded to a card or bank account…and many more!
🚌 Students will continue to enjoy the same subsidised public transport fares and can use their cards for purchases at Smart Buddy Terminals in schools and other retail points.
With this, all commuters now have the option to convert their travel cards to SimplyGo! 📱💳
